Megan Fox Transformers 2 Premiere Looks

by Rechelle Tolinero

While I was not that impressed of her acting talent in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, Megan Fox’s looks during the films various premieres throughout the world was another story. – Totally impressive!

Curious as to how hot Megan’s looks were during the film’s premieres? Here are some photos:

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Premiere

Wearing a white jersey Kaufman Franco gown for the flick’s L.A. premiere, isn’t Megan just hotter than all the Greek goddesses combined? I already am a fan of goddess-inspired gowns but this one just got me speechless. Just wow!

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen - Moscow Premiere

I am not really raving over pink frocks as I find them too girlie but this fuschia print strapless Armani Privé Fall 2007 dress that the actress wore for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Moscow premiere was nothing girlie at all. With that fierce look and flowing sex appeal, who would think of girlie? This is one hot woman!

Megan Fox

Attending the red carpet of the film’s UK premiere, the femme fatale that she is went classic elegance (but never without a hint of sexiness) with a black v-neck high twist jersey Kaufman Franco gown. Black may seem to be a safe choice for a celebrity fashion; in fact there’s nothing really stunning with the frock, but with Megan putting it on, the gown has transformed to something hypnotic. Whew!

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen - Germany Premiere

While she went covered for the film’s UK premiere, her look in Germany was nothing but covered.

In a Roberto Cavalli maroon gown with a thigh high split, plus a gold snake framing the cut-out detail on her hip, would you ever doubt why more and more men go crazy over her despite the lack of talent?

Now with someone as h-o-t as Megan Fox, who could fault her for getting more fans even if she’s lacking in the talent department?

Beautiful Man of the Week: Taylor Lautner

by Rechelle Tolinero

gallery_main-taylorlautner-2-2009-cfda-fashion-awards-06152009-03

Well I’m actually more of a Robert Pattinson a.k.a. Edward Cullen fan than a Taylor Lautner a.k.a. Jacob Black fan. However, when I saw this photo of the latter attending the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards, I’m honestly thinking of a change of heart. *Giggles*

Oh well, while that might not come too easy (I still am in-love with Edward, really) I thought having Taylor here in Celebrity Fashion Watch as our Beautiful Man of the Week would be enough to acknowledge the actor’s hunk and cuteness factor.

So aside from playing Jacob Black in Twilight, who is Taylor Lautner? Here are some information you might be interested to find out.

Born Taylor Daniel Lautner on February 11, 1992, Taylor is an American actor who, aside from being part of the Twilight flick, is also known for playing the cutie superhero, Sharkboy in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D.

If you find the 17-year-old’s gorgeousness a bit uncommon in Hollywood, well that’s because he’s from French, Dutch, German, and Native American ancestry (I wonder why most mixed-blood celebrities stand out more often than pure ones).

Coming with that good looks and acting talent, Taylor’s a martial artist too ranked number one in the world for NASKA’s Black Belt Open Forms, Musical Weapons, Traditional Weapons and Traditional Forms. Now that’s just H-O-T, isn’t it?

Anyway, if you can’t get over Taylor’s hotness, here are more snapshots of him during the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards. Compared to his being half-naked in New Moon, I think I love seeing Taylor more suited up.

The Girls and the fashion at the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards (Part 2)

by Rechelle Tolinero

Here we are on the second and last installment of our post about the celebrity fashion at Monday’s 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards.

Let’s go check out how these attendees enjoyed and took their looks seriously for the event.

Diane Kruger

diane-kruger

I don’t know but there must really be something about Diane Kruger that exudes with so much elegance. This red minidress with black beaded shoulders by Jason Wu she wore at the event would sure look ordinary had it not been worn by her. Such grace she has, right?

Heidi Klum

heidi-klum

Dazzling in a metallic one-shouldered gown designed by Michael Kors, Heidi Klum sure has wowed everyone by being this glamorous in her pregnancy. If I would look this great, I might not mind getting pregnant again. On second thought, this kind of pregnancy must be of maintenance.

Kerry Washington

kerry-washington

Using glitters to establish elegance, Kerry Washington donned on a silverly grey Doo.Ri Resort 2010 sleeveless gown with a plunging neckline. This is what I mean with a hairdo going along with the gown’s sophistication.

Keeping her jewels and accessories minimal is one good move by Kerry here.

Kirsten Dunst

kirsten-dunst

Showing that she’s really taking the celebrity fashion competition, Kirsten Dunst opted to risk with an edgy and bold piece with her asymmetrical minidress by Rodarte. Was the risk worth it? I guess so but not enough to send me raving about it.

If you think the frock is familiar, well that is because that’s the same dress worn by Reese Witherspoon during the Los Angeles premiere of Monsters vs. Aliens last March. Check the look here.

Lydia Hearst

lydia-hearst

Probably one of my favorite looks that night, Lydia Hearts’s beaded one-shoulder white gown by Marc Bouwer is just lovely to the highest level. Beautiful but not for general patronage.

Well, what can you say with all these looks?

The Girls and the fashion at the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards

by Rechelle Tolinero

Fashion event you say? Well expect girls to go and consider it one serious celebrity fashion moment.

And you bet it’s serious. Looking at the stars and their looks during the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 15) at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, you could really say those celebs have indeed prepared for this moment like it was the Oscars; okay, not really.

Anyway, to give you a better understanding of this serious fashion I am talking about, here are some of the celebrities who attended that event.

Blake Lively

blake

Seriously projecting the Barbie look, the Gossip Girls star was drop dead gorgeous in her neon pink Michael Kors Fall 2009 strapless sheath dress.

My concern here though is the hair that was a not-so-fab factor in this fabulous look. For someone donning on a frock as mod as this, can Blake do a little more effort in carrying it?

Ashley Olsen

ashley-olsen

Had I not known Ashley Olsen’s penchant over dramatic and scene-stealer looks, this vintage persimmon gown would probably a big miss for me. Because of that I am giving this look due credit for being fabulous in the most unpretty way I know. ‘Guess this is some look that only Ashley Olsen can pull off perfectly.

Claire Danes

claire-danes

Perfectly shaping her hips falling gracefully to her body, Claire Danes’s cutout Narciso Rodriguez gown is one oh-lala look for me. And that is despite looking backward with its straps. This is just enchanting!

Coco Rocha

coco-rocha

I couldn’t actually decide to like or dislike Coco Rocha’s look that night. Well for one her asymmetrical Michael Kors Resort 2010 red dress is quite bold and daring. But her hair ain’t something I would place on the fabulous department. What do you think?

We’ll have more of the stars and their looks at the 2009 CFDA Fashion Awards on our next post.

Amber Valleta and Paula Patton at the Women in Film 2009 Crystal and Lucy Awards

by Rechelle Tolinero

Since we’ve already been talking about some looks at the Women In Film 2009 Crystal + Lucy Awards last Friday (June 12), might as well feature two more of the celebrity fashion looks that night with Amber Valleta and Paula Patton.

amber-valleta

amber-valleta2

Well in terms of celebrity fashion, I thought metallic and purple shades are out already. However, seeing model Amber Valleta flaunt these fashion trends in one frock I just couldn’t help but be wowed.

Clad in a burgundy metallic cut-out shoulders Proenza Schouler dress, the model was definitely looking deliciously sweet and classy with this look.

paula-patton

paula-patton2

Contrary to Amber’s sweet and exciting look, actress Paula Patton opted to be on the safe zone with her white fitted Dolce & Gabbana dress. Well the look is classy alright but this ain’t something that would excite me. I actually find this kind of look kind of boring already.

Anyway, who among our the Women In Film 2009 Crystal + Lucy Awards featured celebrity fashion looks do you like best?

Selena Gomez plays the looking old fashion at the Women in Film 2009 Crystal and Lucy Awards

by Rechelle Tolinero

Selena Gomez fashion

selena-gomez

With their fame and beauty at their young age, we wonder why some of Hollywood’s young stars go the old look in their celebrity fashion.

Take for example Selena Gomez’s look at Friday’s Women In Film 2009 Crystal + Lucy Awards.

Well that little black dress is forgivable if she wanted not to go wrong in a formal event like this. But the lady pearls and shoes have definitely no excuse other than she just wanted to add twenty or thirty more years in her.

And need I mention about her hair? Come on Selena, with that pretty, fresh, and cute face, you sure can play a lot of looks and stand out in the crowd.

I hope most young stars like Selena realize that they don’t stay this young for a long time so better make the most out of it at least in their fashion and style.

Michelle Trachtenberg is golden girl at the Women in Film 2009 Crystal and Lucy Awards

by Rechelle Tolinero

Michelle Trachtenberg fashion

michelle-tranchtenberg2

We all love Michelle Trachtenberg’s mix of fierce and charming aura. And so embodying more of that, she arrives at Women In Film 2009 Crystal + Lucy Awards last Friday in this combination of fierce and charming look.

Wearing a gold metallic embroidered Reem Acra dress the actress definitely showcased both her strong and soft personalities. With that dark eyeshadows, Michelle indeed brought out that fierce look in her which was then softened by the metallic frock’s huge floral prints. Fierce and charming isn’t it?

One thing that concerns me however is the frock’s length and her not-so-winner shoes.

I don’t know with you but I think this frock would’ve looked better if it had been cut shorter as this length seem to make the actress’ legs look quite short. And the shoes? Let’s just say it’s not getting any attention at all.

Jennifer Aniston winner and loser at the Women in Film 2009 Crystal and Lucy Awards

by Rechelle Tolinero

Jennifer Aniston fashion

Jennifer Aniston may be the biggest winner at Friday’s Women In Film 2009 Crystal + Lucy Awards held in Century City, California but her look that night may not be that winner at all.

Accepting Women In Film’s Crystal Award for expanding the role of women in the entertainment industry, the Friends star was clad in a metallic Prada dress that in my opinion did not bring out so much of the winner star that Jen was that night.

I know she was dazzling, alright but I believe that wasn’t because of the frock she wore but more because she is Jennifer Aniston. I do love the hair although this already has been a monotonous ‘do and starts to bore me already.

All in all, big winner Jen here but the look did not speak of it.

Fergie spells sssssexy

by Rechelle Tolinero

Fergie Sexy

Sssss…. Sometimes putting on a ssssexy look is quite hard to achieve in Hollywood. It’s not because it’s hard to be but because with the number of stars sexy and pretty in their own way, it’s just hard to stand out in the sssexy department.

One of these stars would be Fergie who looked lethal in her sssserpentine Emilio Pucci minidress during her visit at the The Late Show With David Letterman. Paired with strappy metallic sandals Fergie sure is a picture of snake-like sexinessssss.

However, there’s just one thing I do not like about the look. – The snake itself! While I would admit Fergie does look lethally sexy here, the frock somehow brings me to Christmas memories with its green and silver pattern.

We love stars flaunting their assets, but sometimes the effort to be seems too apparent we end up not liking it anymore.

Anne Hathaway goes black and beautiful

by Rechelle Tolinero

Anne Hathaway at Tony Awards

Anne Hathaway at Tony 2

anne-hathawaytony3

I’ve always thought of celebrities opting to wear black in a formal event as too safe and really unimaginative. However, seeing Anne Hathaway’s look during the 63rd Annual Tony Awards last Sunday, safe and unimaginative would definitely be the last words to cross my mind.

Walking the red carpet at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, the actress has everybody’s eyes and attention with her strapless black Oscar de la Renta Fall 2009 dress paired with simple jewels and her hair swept neatly.

I actually love the details on this frock’s skirt as it did give the look a delicate and charming feel. This kind of frock is something Anne can pull off without trying; it seems like it was made with her in mind already. I so love this look and I’m sure many would agree to this.

A definite hit!

Young and Beautiful at the 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards (Part 3)

by Rechelle Tolinero

Here we are on our last installment of our 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards fashion coverage. Let’s go check out more of the young and beautiful personalities – who hit (or miss) with their looks – at Sunday’s event.

Shall we?

Madeline Zuma

Madeline Zuma

I’m actually thinking whether I’d give this charming look of Madeline Zuma. For one, I love the mix of charm and boldness of this look but the overall construction of the frock – with Madeline’s ‘do – seem to bring out a freaky feeling. The color’s good but the overall construction is not.

Monique Coleman

Monique Coleman

Clad in a burgundy strapless dress and with a ‘do that’s so hard to miss, Monique Coleman sure is one of those who stood out at the event. Although it’s not something I would want to try, I believe the hair looks good in her and vice versa. For having the courage to be different, I’m giving this look thumbs up.

Phoebe Price

Phoebe Price

Probably the oddest look at the event, Phoebe Price’s plunging neckline red and black gown did send me horrors. Why this look is literally shouting red alert! And just because she has a red gown, does she have to have her hair red, too? Geez! Did she even look at the mirror before going to the event?!

Rumer Willis

Rumer Willis, fashion miss

Wearing a mini black dress with a ruffle skirt, don’t you think Rumer Willis should go get a serious styling lesson or at least get a good stylist now? I’ve seen her in various events already but none of her styles have really put me in awe. I somehow think the actress doesn’t seem to know her assets and is sometimes misled in thinking showing more skin can get her an easy hit.

Oh well, who do you think among these young and beautiful celebrities had the best look?

Young and Beautiful at the 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards (Part 2)

by Rechelle Tolinero

As we’ve seen from the previous post, being young and beautiful in Hollywood sure seems to be the best thing in this world. However, in the celebrity fashion side, being young and beautiful does not mean an easy hit and nods from fashion critics.

Today, let’s continue with our 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards celebrity fashion coverage.

Evan Rachel Wood

evan-rachel-wood

Now, this is probably one of my favorite looks at the event. The black and silver Gucci Fall 2009 dress is something that only a young and beautiful Hollywood personality like Evan Rachel Wood can give justice. I love the spunky feel of the overall look that anybody would find it really hard to ignore.

Jaime Chung

jamie-chung

With Jaime Chung’s cute and charming face, I wonder why she didn’t play her assets well and settled for this boring strapless frock. This ain’t giving justice to her being young and beautiful in Hollywood. Not even the pair of shoes is interesting.

Katherine McPhee

katharine-mcphee

I’ve always thought of red as exuding with class, elegance, and sophistication. This red Reem Acra Resort 2009 silk satin strapless cocktail dress that Katharine McPhee wore is actually no different to that. I, however think the singer should go experiment more on her looks and enjoy being young and beautiful. This one seems too safe for her.

LaLa Vazquez

lala-vazquez

Another so-so look in the event is LaLa Vazquez in her Alexander Wang denim and velvet corset top. I actually have been looking for something striking in this look but nothing really that interest me. It’s not ugly, but not spectacular either.

Catch the last installment of this event on the next post.

Young and Beautiful at the 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards

by Rechelle Tolinero

Many people would die to be in Hollywood. In fact, many already did still wanting to earn a spot in that limelight but still got nothing. And so I say, lucky are those stars, who at their young age have already been enjoying the life and glitters to be in Hollywood.

And so for Sunday’s 11th Annual Young Hollywood Awards, let’s all go have a celebrity fashion check out (and be envious) with the young and beautiful personalities who attended the event.

Annalyne McCord

annalynne-mccord

Clad in a black strapless number with sleek waves and red lips, Annalyne McCord sure made a ‘fierce’ appearance in the event. Although the frock is anything but unusual, I must say she pulled this off using sheer confidence and spunky attitude.

Bai Ling

bai-ling

I’m never really a fan of Bai Ling’s styles, but this one here sure gets a nod from me. It’s not everyday that we see this actress in this subtle and pleasing-in-the-eye look, so I’m definitely giving this a hit remark!

Bar Rafaeli

bar-rafaeli

Pink frocks are usually okay and safe in this kind of event. I guess this is what Bar Rafaeli had in mind as she donned on this one shoulder Notte by Marchesa hot pink mini dress. It’s not that eye-catching but it’s not something you’d really call a miss. So-so, I guess?

Catherine Hardwicke

catherine-hardwicke

Yeah, she’s not that young like young but unarguably, Catherine Hardwicke has captured the hearts of the youngs. Clad in a simple LBD, we’re quite sure her presence is enough for the fashion freaks like me.

Eva Marcille

eva-marcille

I have no doubt Eva Marcille can pull off this ivory halter neck gown she had. White maybe a safe choice but this one’s design is a bit tricky.

We’ll have more of these stars on our next post.

Megan Fox is ultra glam at “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” World Premiere

by Rechelle Tolinero

megan-fox1

Although she’s someone I’ve always thought to be one of those most knock out sizzling beauties in Hollywood, in terms of celebrity fashion, I never really expected Megan Fox to be able to pull off an ultra glam look. Not that she can’t, it’s just that she’s always been on the edgy and foxy side of fashion.

However, seeing her look at the world premiere of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” in Japan last night (June 8), I absolutely was so in awe!

Why I’ve never seen her this glamorous and fabulous!

The regal satin purple Donna Karan gown just brought out the best and the sexiest in her.

Blogging here in Celebrity Fashion Watch for years now, I must say seeing stars stand out with their glam gowns is not unusual anymore. But this look here of Megan just gets me raving. I super adore it! And nope, it’s not something I would want to wear for myself, it’s something I know Megan really owned and embrace. This should be the look for her.

I love how everything in this look worked perfectly for the actress – the hair, the make-up, the frock, the Stuart Weitzman “Frontpage” platform pumps, the golden bangles, and most of all, the legs. Everything’s just perfect.

Now with Megan setting this ultra high celebrity fashion standard for herself, I bet she’d all be in pressure keeping up or even do better with this already great look. We just hope she won’t ever switch back into that look she had at the MTV Movie Awards or I would really be disappointed.

Meanwhile, if you want to see more of Megan, click on the thumbnails after the jump to see larger photos.

Glamour Women of the Year Awards: The Bold in Colors

by Rechelle Tolinero

If we have been bored to death by most of the attendees with their monochromes celebrity fashion in our previous post, let’s see if these stars we have here would impress us as they go the opposite wearing frocks in daring and bold colors.

Amanda Seyfried

amanda-seyfried

Wearing a multi-coloured satin dress and a sassy pair of Gladiator heels, the Mama Mia star is actually quite an awkward sight to see. You see I love her sexy curls and moody make-up but I’m having quite an issue with the frock. ‘Guess too much color and patterns make this bit of an eyesore.

Michelle Ryan

michelle-ryan

Now this look of Michelle Ryan is quite the opposite to Amanda’s; I love the hot pink maxi dress but the hair and the make-up is just awful. This look would’ve been a hit with a more glamorous ‘do and subtle make-up.

Fearne Cotton

fearne-cotton

Fierce in her rich red frock with tiered skirt, Fearne sure was a picture of 80’s fashion and style. I actually like the play of color here; the shoes, the bag, and the frock were matched perfectly. Even her hair and make-up coordinated the look, too.

Katy Perry

katy-perry

If it’s bold and daring we are talking about at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Katy Perry would definitely be on the top list. Her bright blue silk mini dress paired with red multi-strap platform heels is something anybody can hardly miss. I may not be crazy over Katy’s style but I must give credit to her fashion attitude.

Sarah Webb

sarah-webb

Although I have nothing against blue, I think this blue frock Sarah Webb had at the event is something I really won’t call a hit. Could be the length, could be the color itself, but whatever it is, it sure is giving the look a dowdy feel.

I guess here we’ve learned that bold colors, too wouldn’t be enough to make a celebrity fashion a hit.
