2008 MTV Video Music Awards Looks: Who Hit; Who Missed?! (Part 3)
Whew! It seems like we really can’t get enough of last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. We already had two batches of the various celebrity fashion looks at the event.
Now, here’s the last and final batch of those looks that hit and missed last night.
Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna… I guess being edgy and different is just her way of presenting who she is. And always on her daring self (when it comes to style), the singer graced the event with a layered and gilded bustier dress with white T-strap pumps matching her platinum streak in a cropped ‘do. While I can’t say that I so love the frock, I guess her pumps did the magic for me. – Love it!
Sizzling in a plunging white Pogah hand-painted minidress and soft braided updo, The Hills star, Lauren Conrad definitely proved that her sense of style is way way more classy than her frienemy, Heidi Montag. I sure like this celeb’s cheekiness.
From Rihanna’s edgy look to Lauren’s hot hot fashion statement, let’s go to Paris Hilton’s full-skirted hot pink Miu Miu dress with accessories and hair extensions from her own lines. But while I love Paris’ trendy accessories and classy frock, I don’t think it was a good idea for her to flaunt her not-so-flawless legs. If those are bruises or just varicose veins; I don’t want to know anymore.
Ballerinas are also known to carry such grace and charm. But can we say the same to Taylor Swift’s ballerina-inspired beige frock? Hmmm… I’m not really sure; it looked charming of course but I think it’s just so plain and boring.
Trying to be different from others’ gowns and cocktails, Tila Tiquila tried to give her own a style some…ehem.. demure feel (if that’s what she means with demure).
Well folks, those are the looks that marked from the other night’s MTV Video Music Awards. Hope they get better next year!

the best part of the VMA’s was Kanye West’s performance at the end… the worst part was the host (what’s with the accent?)
