All the hits and misses at the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

by Rechelle Tolinero

Awards, awards, awards…. Oh I just love award shows; they seem to give me the opportunity to make the most out of this blog. And since there was no ceremony for the Golden Globes, the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium would be my kick off for this year’s red carpet events.

And indeed, this has been THE event for celebs who want to flaunt and show off their best in the fashion department. Hits, misses, awesome, awful; I got them all covered! It’s all here in Celebrity Fashion Watch.

Sorted categorically (as to their type of frocks), let’s see who stood out and were left out…

The Classics

While some stars wanted to stand out wearing bright and shinny colored frocks, these are the stars who opted to be classy and chic with frocks ranging from dark to earth colors to soft and white toned gowns.

Teri Hatcher

And the winner for this category is… Teri Hatcher! I just love the Little Mermaid inspired dress. – Simple, classy, and FABULOUS.

The Colors

As the previous set of stars wanted it simple and toned down, these celebs were clad in sunny and bright colors to be the opposite. Whether in sunny yellow or bright pinks, these are the stars who indeed put color in the event.

Vanessa Williams

But among these colorful frocks, one merged as the most who stood out. And this is Vanessa Williams in her glamorous yellow flowing gown.

The Metallics

They shone, they glittered, and they definitely sparkled at the event. These are the stars who dazzled sporting on metallic frocks in either silver or gold.

Debra Messing

But who dazzled most? Well minus her really MESSY hair, Debra Messing sure hit perfectly with her gold sequined frock.

Well congratulations to all the winners. Kudos to all those who hit in the red carpet fashion, better luck next time to those who didn’t.
