Battle for Gold: Beyonce VS Monica
Well we’ve always known that in order to stand up in Hollywood, your fashion statements should stand up first. After all, aside from those stars’ pretty faces, it’s their looks that catch our eyes and sticks to our mind.
And that goes to say that having an identical look is a big no-no.
Today in Celebrity Fashion Watch, two stars (sexy and hot for that matter) will have to battle on one look. Who pulled it off best? Who stood out and stuck to our mind?
It’s R&B diva, Beyonce Knowles vs budding actress and model, Monica Cruz battling it out over a golden beaded Elie Saab halter dress.
On Beyonce
Dating back in 2007, the newlywed rocked the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards with her sparkling number. And sparkled she did, the diva definitely glittered at the event with the frock and her perfect body language.
However, although the gown may really have brought Beyonce’s already oozing sex appeal, I think it just went a little too fit on her that it hardly held her beautiful ‘boobies’. I was actually even worried the dress would explode!
On Monica
Attending the ELLE awards in Barcelona, Penelope Cruz’s younger sister, Monica also exposed her undeniably admirable curves with the same halter dress. Of course with smaller physique than Beyonce, the dress actually looked just fit for her (not necessarily better on her).
My only problem with Monica here is her effortless and thoughtless hairdo. Goodness, one would surely think she just got up from bed with this uncombed hair! I think Monica didn’t really do enough justice with the dress.
Too tight on Beyonce, just okay with Monica. Whom do you think this look belongs?
