Black and Big

It’s a classic – black makes “big� people look (a bit) thinner. On Kelly Clarkson’s case here however, the effect is otherwise.
Kelly came for a visit at MTV Canada to promote her “My December� album wearing this all black suit. And noticed the blonde? Yes, Kelly’s back from black to blonde.
Anyway, back to the “black theory,� I don’t understand if Kelly just gained some weight or the wardrobe just projected that ‘big look’. Clothes are meant to flatter your assets and not emphasize the parts that should be hidden. Here, Kelly’s hips were stressed giving her an ENORMOUS look.
Hit or miss? – Definitely a miss here for the American Idol.

Black that fits well is very slimming, hence the positive reputation that black holds.
Black that does not fit well, however, adds even more “weight” to a figure than ill-fitting colorful outfits … I strongly support stars who have not solidified their reputation as hot or beautiful wearing more color!
