Over the years, Kelly projected various looks that signify her soaring career. Sporting a rocker-chick style with her signature smudgy liner, Kelly is definitely one fashion icon.
Atending in Burleson High School in Texas in 1998, Kelly was an ordinary face to see. In sans makeup, innocent look, and an unsure smile, who would’ve thought that an ordinary girl from Texas will go rocking the world?
Winning the American Idol in 2002, Kelly started making it big, her fashion sense included. Donning with a flat hair and thin make-up she looks just as refreshing. In 2003, she released her debut album, Thankful and started wearing big curls.
Proving that she’s the anti-diva, Kelly shared a tour bus during her Breakaway tour in 2004 with fellow AI veteran Clay Aiken. And isn’t she just fab with this long wavy hair and a bit of smoky eyes? Anyway, in 2006, after the multi-platinum success of her albums, Kelly lightens up her look sporting with a blonde hair.
Becoming the representative of NASCAR in 2007, Kelly looks carefree with a touch of sophistication with black hair and a prettier than pink lipstick.
With the line-up of transformation, Kelly proves that Breaking Away isn’t that bad after all.
