Transformations here in Celebrity Fashion Watch usually pertain to stars who from ugly ducklings transformed to beautiful swans through time. But since our ‘beloved’ Britney Spears is a VIP in this blog, we can do the reverse of what transformation means.
Together, let’s do a backtrack of Britney Spears’ evolution of looks.
Since the release of her debut single, “Baby One More Time,� in the end of 1998, Britney Spears became an instant household name; the kids loved and adored her, the teens idolized her, and parents liked her wholesome image. Spears also received positive reviews from media and critics; she was also even a favorite cover of various magazines for her fresh and bubbly personality.
Britney’s looks then seems to be the ‘in’ thing for the teens worldwide. Her fitting silk jeans + bikini tops + rubber shoes were a classic during concerts. And ‘classic’ they may be, both fans and non-fans worshipped Britney’s coolness and sexiness.
Along with the release of her next albums came Britney’s transformation from a teenie bopper performer to a sexy and hot celebrity.
Her performance at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards generated much controversy when she ripped off a black suit revealing a provocative nude-colored and crystal adorned outfit. During those days, Britney’s performances are all considered hits, putting every audience in awe with her talent.
Britney seems to be living a fairy tale life then having a huge and successful career and a cute boyfriend standing by her side through Justin Timberlake.
But as they all say, not all fairy tales end in happily ever after. After her marriage to then-husband, Kevin Federline and announcing a career break to start a family, Britney’s life seemed to have gone into a paradigm shift. Gone were the daring but chic looks, Britney said goodbye to the “sexy and hot� image and said hello to whore-y and ‘scary’ looks. With her Chaotic life came along her Chaotic sense of fashion
Poor Brit… What her looks will be in months to come is something we could hope for.

Her style is definitely getting a lot better! it seems like shes getting her life in order so shes starting to dress better, ive seen her in bleu clothing in LA thats my girlfriends fav store
