I’m probably one of those who hadn’t really been happy looking at Lily Allen sporting on her pink Troll-like hair (remember her hideous look during the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2008?).

Thankfully, it seems like the 23-year-old singer and songwriter finally realized this, too as she recently switched from pink brunette.

Well it actually seems to be quite a while already since I last made a post about Julia Roberts. And as far as I can remember, that post wasn’t even about how glam or fab her look was. It was in fact, a post about how dowdy Julia Roberts can sometimes be.

I admit, although it had been almost a year of blogging about the hits and misses and celebrity fashion, there are still times (a lot to be specific) when I get confused with my entries. You know, the kind where my mind’s arguing whether or not a celebrity look is gorgeous or ugly.

Just like what Janest Jackson has here arriving at the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in California.

Well I was really in awe at first looking at Janet wearing this white suit added with a touch of charm through pink stripes. It absolutely has that regal appeal. However, looking close at it, you begin to think if the suit is too small not to fit in Janet’s chest or too big that it looks so bulging on her legs.

Then you begin to notice that her hair is as big as her suit like she just had herself New York, NY hair transplants. And you tell yourself, “It ain’t that regal after all.�

Darn! Maybe you can help me give the verdict for this look.

From the sexy curls to Katie’s short hair transformation, Hollywood hair trends now focus on the bangs or fringes.

Well alot have been told about fringes; it looks sexy, trendy, and sometimes cuts some age.

Anyway, there are alot of tricks to achieve that perfect sexy celebrity bangs.

For singer Rihanna, a soft blunt bangs compliments her face features. Getting the look, you will need to cut the bangs at eye level when it dry as it bounces up a bit shorter.

On other hand, Reese Witherspoon opted to sport a subtle sideswept bangs. If you want to have such kind of bangs, go sweep on a small amount of balm or cream shine product on the bangs and smoothly direct it to the side, blow dry, then viola!

Mandy Moore’s sexy long sideswept bangs on other hand was achieved by adding a volumizing spray after washing then blow drying it with a flat brush.

Finally, mommy-to-be Nicole Richie’s long wispy bangs was made possible through blow dry and a paddle brush. Round ones actually provides a wave-like effect on the hair and the bangs, so the paddle brush avoids this.

Now you’ve got your tips for a Hollywood-like bangs, go have your self one and join the trend.

Disclaimer: Actually, wearing bangs isn’t something new to me, believe it or not, I’ve been sporting on a bangs from elementary through high school. And although it seems that bangs mania is back, I don’t think I would reconsider it this time around.

Since its Hollywood hair trends week, this day’s feature is Katie Holmes’ hair transformation from sexy curls to sleek short.

I could not decide though if she looked younger or more mature with the hairstyle. One thing’s for sure, Katie’s in to bring back the stylish chic convenience of wearing a short hair.

Although I really think that the soft curls were really sexy, this one on the other hand is… well… cute.

One thing that makes celebrities a celebrity is their never ending change of hairstyle. Yesterday you saw one sporting on with blonde hair color, today you see them in black, tomorrow they’re brunettes. I guess this chameleon-like attitude of stars does add glamour to the world of entertainment.

Anyway, since I miss the Celebrity Fashion Watch weekly theme idea, I thought of bringing it back through celebrity hairstyles. And since I mentioned that the changes of hairstyles of these stars are as fast as the speed of light, recency is therefore not guaranteed.

Anyway, to start the ball rolling, here’s a hairstyle for those girls with thick and long hair. If wanting to look sexy is your kind of style, and I mean really sexy, soft curls with a bend that has plenty of body and volume throughout is perfect for you.

Whether you’re a blonde like Scarlett Johansson, a red hair like Jessica Alba, donning with black hair like Hillary Duff, or brunette ala Lindsay Lohan, soft curls will really do some magic.

This hairstyle is not advisable for women with curly hair, however.
