I’ve always believed that one should dress up and embrace their age when it comes to dressing up, but seeing Elizabeth Hurley at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation Party, I could sure have a change of mind.

Clad in a glamorous form-fitting pink dress, the model, actress and swimwear designer could sure pass as 33 instead of 43 (her real age). With one of her legs flashed, who would think about dressing up according to your age here? I sure wouldn’t. I love how the frock hugged Elizabeth Hurley’s curves and how the shade of pink added glow in her already glowing aura. And that’s speaking from someone who has never been a fan of pink.

It’s always pleasing to see stars who have been quite in a hiatus make a public appearance again. Aside from giving you that nostalgic feeling seeing them again after some time just gives you that little smile.

And like those stars I was talking about, seeing Alicia Silverstone after quite some time is just so great I can’t help but smile.

Clad in a long royal blue gown, the Clueless star was all smiles as she posed for the papz 2009 Heart of Green awards in New York City yesterday (April 24). I just love the look she has here; it was refreshing and oh-so chic. Everything just worked perfectly – from her sexy curls to her subtle make-up and minimal accessory.

Wow, it was as if Alicia never aged at all!

I love peach! I love peach! I love peach!

When I was young, I used to think about having a grand debut – a cotillion, 18 roses, and 18 candles. But aside from the basics, I also imagined myself wearing a flowing and beautiful peach gown.

Years later – with me not getting any of those when I turned 18 – I was absolutely surprised too see the gown I imagined wearing on Puerto Rican actress, Lilia Luciano at Univision’s “Lo Nuestro a La Musica Latina” Awards last Thursday (March 26).

Well it’s not exactly what I’ve imagined for myself, the peachy strapless Nicolas Felizola gown is actually better than what I dreamed of having. Why I so love the color and the way the piece falls from its waist is just exquisite.

This is by far the best peach gown I’ve seen. And I love it!

I am never a huge fan of floral-printed frocks; they’re sweet and charming alright, but somehow at the back of my mind, something reminds of the curtain we have here at home.

However, I guess I would have a change of heart after seeing Jaime Chung flaunt this Jenni Kayne Resort 2009 floral gown during the world premiere of “Dragonball Evolution” in Tokyo, Japan last Tuesday (March 10).

Man, this is just refreshing to look at. I love the blend of colors; it’s classy, fabulous, and just so light in the eye. I also love how the frock embraced and flattered Jaime’s sun-kissed skin. It’s just lovely!

Meanwhile, “Dragonball Evolution” hit Japan theaters last Friday (March 13). The film was directed by James Wong and stars Justin Chatwin, Jaime Chung, Chow Yun-Fat, Amy Rossum, and James Marsters among others.

This year’s Victoria Secret’s VIP party boasts a slew of hot, hot stars. So let’s start with the show’s two hosts: Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes. Both Angels were dressed in mini-dresses that left nothing to the imagination. Check it out:

Adriana Lima:

Now, this girl just sizzles!

Her make-up and disheveled just-got-out of bed hair is perfect for the sexy night’s event. Her white Pucci mini-dress however, is quite a teeny tiny bit a mess to look at. But hey? The girl just looked gorgeous in it. It complimented her dark hair and tanned skin. If it were another celebrity, I don’t think that they could’ve pulled it off. But Adriana sure gave it a sexy flavor, not that the dress in itself isn’t sexy, it’s long enough to cover the wearer’s butt, but short enough to show miles and miles of legs. Her silver metallic pumps and matching silver accessories are great though, so hands down to this Angel!

Doutzen Kroes:

If there’s anyone who can match Adriana Lima’s sultry sexiness, it is Doutzen Kroes. She’s the lighter side to Adriana’s sexy darkness.

This hot blonde is another of Victoria Secret’s Angels, and was one of the event’s co-hosts. Her dark-gray metallic dress is stunning, although if this were another event NOT hosted by VS, then I would have to say that this dress is a tad bit too short (like Adriana’s) and a size too small for the model. But then again, this is a Victoria’s Secret show, so let the short, too-small size dresses rain!

Back to her dress, there’s a crisscrossing pattern that goes in front of her dress that goes from either sides of her hips to the top of her scooped neckline. Her matching silver heels with flirty laces and silver accessories, accentuated the whole outfit.

I just watched Titanic two days ago for the nth time. And so I couldn’t help be in a fan mode again seeing the film’s two casts back again for another team-up.

Yup, for Titanic fans like me, here’s our chance to see Jack and Rose…err…Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet via “Revolutionary Road”.

Here, we see Kate looking absolutely knock-out in her black Narciso Rodriguez dress with criss-crossed glossy leather top. I think the actress pulled off this look well without having to accessorize herself with too much glittering blings.

Now this is elegance and sexiness mean for me. Her elegance and beauty is radiating. I just love Kate!

Revolutionary Road is a Golden Globe Award-winning British-American drama film directed by Kate’s husband (uhuh!), Sam Mendes.

While I wasn’t too impressed with Anne Hathaway’s look at yesterday’s the 20th anniversary of the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala presented by Cartier in California, Dakota Fanning’s look showed otherwise.

With her baby blue strapless dress, the 13-year-old child star matches it with a pair of metallic low-heeled shoes. Her sexy curls down, and voila, a beautiful swan that she surely has become.

What I like most about Dakota is that she never rush into the ‘grown up’ looks; the charming frock, lovely hair, and comfortable lady shoes is just a proof of that. I love this girl!

Dakota, like Anne Hathaway is also one of the recipients of the event with her Rising Star Award. With her performances in movies like “I am Sam,” “Uptown Girls,” “Man on Fire,” and “Charlotte’s Web” Dakota has no doubt endeared the public.

Oh yeah, I still haven’t gotten over my craze over ‘Twilight’.

And so when I saw this photo of Kristen Stewart during the photocall for the film on Monday (December 8 ) at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris, I did not hesitate to put it here in Celebrity Fashion Watch.

Clad in a navy and white striped Camilla and Marc Spring 2008 mini dress, Kristen was really a darling in the red carpet despite of course with her usual bemused self.

One thing though that I would want to see for this look is a neater ‘do to give that touch of glamour. Well the dress was successful to showcase her long and beautiful legs, her make-up’s just right, so just the hair and everything would’ve been perfect.

I have always had this love-hate relationship with bell-shaped frocks. Sometimes they’re great, sometimes they’re disastrous.

As for Cate Blanchett’s sculpted metallic Alexander McQueen dress that she wore at the Los Angeles premiere of her film, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” last night, hmmmm… Well I think I love it; except for that flesh-toned sheath underneath that looks more like… let me guess, Spanx?!

Then again, if only for that lovely shimmering gown that’s ‘shinier than a penny in a fountain‘, I guess I will give that a hit.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is a 2008 film in a modern setting loosely adapted from the 1922 short story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. It is set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century following the life of Benjamin (Brad Pitt), who is born with the appearance and physical limitations of a man in his eighties.

Aside from Brad and Cate, the film also stars Taraji P. Henson, Julia Ormond, and Jason Flemyng among others.

Being Beyoncé’s little sister, getting in the limelight has not been a problem at all for Solange Knowles. However, being the sister of a star as bright as Beyoncé, it is of course inevitable to be always on her shadows.

And so I guess that is why Solange is now taking the step to get out from the brand as “Beyoncé’s little sister.” From her music to her acting style, and lately on her fashion statements, Solange is now trying to (slowly) establish a name of her own.

Visiting The Late Show with David Letterman, the 22-year old singer and actress deviates from her sister’s fashion image by taking in a funkier approach. Pairing a feathered vest and Armani Jeans denim with a printed T-shirt and booties, Solange sure made a statement with this look.

While I’m not quite sure if I like that feathered vest, the overall look seems okay with me. I guess it really takes a lot to pull off this look, like having the guts to play online casinos. But just like the latter, when you’ve learned the ins and outs of the game already, it will be no-sweat to make a fashion hit.

Black and pink. Who would have thought these shades would match perfectly to make a hit fashion statement? I guess Selma Blair just knew better.

Attending the Madrid premiere of Hellboy II: The Golden Army, the 36-year old actress was a mix of class and charm with her black chiffon Fendi dress and bubblegum-pink Louboutins. Adding more twist on the look, Selma then adds on diamond bangles from Amrapali. This is one look I’d never get tired looking at. I especially love the pair of shoes that’s a mix of sweetness and glam!

Aside from Selma Blair, Hellboy II: The Golden Army stars Ron Perlman, Doug Jones, Luke Goss, and Anna Walton. The movie was released in the United States and Canada last July 11, 2008.

For avid readers of this blog, you might have already known my dislike for celebrities who try to alter their ages through their looks. But certainly, Emma Watson is never one of those stars I am talking about.

Looking prim and proper in her Charles Anastase lacy dress, the 18-year old French-born British actress was stunning at the Cartier International Polo Day in Windsor, England. And to complete that summery look, Emma dons on a pair of strappy sandals and an oversized clutch.

Oh well, will somebody ever doubt that?! It’s as if Victoria Beckham has been synonymous to the word fashion. And everyday is like a day for Posh Spice to prove this.

Spending a day shopping with her family in L.A., the former Spice Girl proves that no heat from the sun can stop her from being classy and chic. With her mod-print mini dress, gladiator heels, and a bag from Miu Miu, who wouldn’t pay attention to Vic’s fashion presence?

Arriving at the NBC Universal 2008 Press Tour All-Star Party last night, the 19-year old Heroes hottie was hot, hot, hot in a salmon pink backless dress that looks conservative in the front and oh-so daring at the back. Hmmm… Do you think the look speaks much of Hayden’s personality?
