As far as a fashion record here in Celebrity Fashion Watch is concern, Alicia Keys’ will actually fall under the so-so category. That means, not much hits and not much of misses; a celebrity who seems to often play safe with her fashion statements.

However, attending the Keep A Child Alive: The Black Ball UK in England yesterday, the 27-year-old singer and actress really surprised me with uber-elegant black gown. I know of course black is still a ‘play-it-safe’ color but then the kind of class, glamour, and elegance it exuded is just amazing.

Aside from her beautiful gown, Alicia’s hair, make-up, and pearly white teeth definitely are a factor of this hit look.

I just hope this look here will just be a step to the singer’s more improved and more daring fashion sense.

I actually have this friend who’s a huge fan of Vanessa Hudgens. Whenever he (yes, he’s a man) opens this blog, the first thing he’d ask me is if I have a new post featuring the young High School Musical star.

And so, wanting to indulge him even for this day, here’s one of the latest fashion sightings of the 19-year-old Fil-Am actress and singer.

Vanessa’s currently busy with her promotional duties in preparation for the release of her new album Identified. She’ll have to really squeeze in her schedule now that High School Musical 3 is about to hit theaters before the year ends.

When I say the name, Reese Witherspoon, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind?
