After so much ‘negativity’ concerning the previous looks that Christina Aguilera put on the red carpets, I can finally say that at long last, she hits it!

Oh yeah!

Attending the “Grammy Nomination Concert Live!!” in Los Angeles, California yesterday (December 3), the diva finally stepped in her best wearing a strapless Monique Lhulier dress paired with a pair of Labuton pumps and Webster jewels.

Well after seeing disaster after disaster looks from Christina, I just couldn’t be happier seeing how fabulous and glamorous she still can be.

Thank goodness for Monique Lhulier, huh?!

Actually, aside from the gown, her make-up – not too minimal but not too much, and her ‘do – neatly done, also went well here. Love it Christina, love it!

I really think she should do more looks like this.

Oh no! Has Christina Aguilera really gone mad with her sense of fashion already?!

The few times I saw her in would-like-to-be-like-Cher looks, I thought everything is just a matter of wrong choice of frock or just plain fashion disaster.

But when it started to be like the same looks every now and then, that’s when I started to believe something is really wrong with Xtina!

Wearing a black ensemble (minus the hair), the singer and new mom attended a launch bash for photographer Matthew Rolston’s book beautyLIGHT at the Wallis Annenberg Center For the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

While the frock, the bag, and the shoes would generally pass a fashion police, Christina herself would certainly not. Well to start, the hair is just in a total mess; her eyes looked ugly, and the bold red lips just weren’t enough to make a statement.

Come on Christina, you can do better than this.

I have always considered myself a Christina Aguilera fan; I love her voice, I (used to) love her style, and I like the class in her.

However, as ‘moving on’ calls in Christina’s life, I soon realized that I no longer like the woman I am seeing. Why along the changes in her life and career, came the super shift in her style and looks!

Attending the Africa Rising Festival at the Royal Albert Hall today (October 14) in London, England, Christina was just horrendous in her Storm-like look! I am actually thinking when she’d finally decide to wear white contacts to complete the look of the X-Men character.

Not even her colorwheel-inspired frock can save Christina from this unearthly look!

I’m wondering if her son, Max enjoys seeing her this way…

We’ve seen the looks that hit and missed during the Conde Nast Media Group’s 5th Anniversary of Fashion Rocks. While the party’s over for the media group, the party has just begun for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

Held at the Paramount Pictures Studios in California tonight (September 7), let’s check out whose looks captivated the audience and whose didn’t.

To kick-off this list, here’s Ashlee Simpson showing off her ballooning belly via an Alexander McQueen gown. For a glowing first time mom, this look is definitely a hit!

When a celebrity gives birth to her first child, there are only two things that could happen to her fashion sense; either it gets better or gets worse.

Unfortunately, for new mom Christina Aguilera, the latter seems to be the one that takes place.

Launching her new perfume, “Christina Aguilera Inspire,” at Macy’s in New York City last Tuesday, the diva got this look that just want to make me puke. I don’t know, but I just can’t stand the sight of Christina here in a skintight mini Roberto Cavalli dress paired with platform heels; I hate her hair, hate her make-up, and I hate her flaunting her boobies and legs at the same time as if there’s no other chance to show them off one after the other.

Anyway, here’s what E!Online’s Fashion Police had to say about this look:

“Uninspired Inspiration

One fashion rule we’ve always adhered to is, if the legs are on display, put the boobs away, and vice versa. But silly us, assuming Christina Aguilera would follow fashion rules. It’s hard to decide what’s less inspiring about this ensemble, meant to encourage us to buy her new fragrance Inspire: the fuchsia lipstick, tacky platforms, blinding blond hair or resortwear print (sorry, Roberto Cavalli).”

Can’t actually help but smile reading some of the comments from the site that included:

Way back in high school, I’ve always found myself defending Christina Aguilera from the criticisms of my classmates who were mostly Britney Spears fanatics.

Yes, I used to be a Christina fan. But just like most fans, I also have outgrown that part of my life.

Seeing Christina now, I sometimes think of the things that I liked about her. Not that she’d been a bad influence but you know, Christina’s just so different now.

Attending the Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai event yesterday at California, the 27-year old singer and songwriter just looked like she turned from genie in a bottle to Ursula in a hotel; as fadedyouthblog.com puts it, “her trademark clown makeup seemingly permanently spackled on.”

Well I don’t have much problem with her frock. What I have trouble liking with is her make-up that made her look like a drag queen…errr… villain. And the hair? What’s that? Goldilocks?
