With only 34 days before the much-anticipated premiere of Sex and the City: The Movie, it’s actually not a surprise to see Sarah Jessica Parker on almost everywhere.

Gracing the cover of French Elle’s latest mag issue, the 43-year-old actress is looking so fresh and youthful in a black balloon dress with a necklace made of several black stones as her only accessory.

What I actually like most of this cover is that warm smile and glow on SJP’s face. Unlike her character on the movie as Carrie Bradshaw who’s a fashion daredevil, the cover shows Sarah Jessica’s own fashion taste. – Girly but classy.

And while other Hollywood celebrities like Madonna, Alanis Morissette and Julianne Moore who seem to have already frequented plastic surgeons in Chicago Illinois, prove hard of their still-selling sex appeal with their daring pictorials, SJP settled to look happy and content with her age here.

And guess what’s next for Sarah Jessica? American Vogue’s June issue cover. Super!

You read it right. That is Julianne Moore on the cover of Vogue Paris’s May 2008 issue.

And so to remind you, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress is already 47 years old! (My mom’s age!)

Tell me, what is happening with this world and these Hollywood veterans?! From Madonna’s Hard Candy album cover to Alanis Morissette’s Flavor of Entanglement promo photos, now, Julianne Moore?! What did Madonna do to actually encourage personalities of her age insist they’re still freakin’ hot despite their age?!

So, okay, Julianne is still hot. In fact, had I not read the caption telling it was her on the cover then I wouldn’t have recognized her at all. Of course the cover showed the femme fatale in her yet I still can’t help but think about her age and her children.

I guess the question here shouldn’t be whether it’s hot or not. Rather, I guess one should think if it is appropriate for her or not.

First, let me tell you I have nothing against Alanis Morissette. In fact since high school I’ve always been a fan of her. Her music is something that would often give me a last song syndrome. In fact, my and sister and I go crazy with her song, “Ironic�.

However, I guess my idol has just gone mad putting on this ‘teasing’ pose for a promo shot of her new album, “Flavor of Entanglement.� Teasing may probably be not the right word here, yet I could not seem to find the right term to use for this shot.

What the hell was she thinking?! Is she even aware she looked like an airbrushed Cher (read: slutty old woman) here?! Come on Alanis, with this kind of promotion, even if you give out various Coupon Codes, I don’t think it’d still sell out.

I guess I just should just blame Madonna for all these veteran madness. Yeah, Alanis probably isn’t that old yet to be categorized with Madonna. However, she isn’t that young either!

I just couldn’t take the cleavage and the crotch anymore! Please, can somebody just give me Sephora Coupon Codes or Lenovo Coupon Codes to get some diversion?!

If Demi Moore is the first name that comes to my mind with the word ageless, Madonna would probably be the one that I’d always think first with unstoppable. Yes, she fits perfectly with ageless, too in fact as if Madonna never graduated from her Material Girl times. Thus, the unstoppable.

Doing the May 2008 cover for Vanity Fair’s Green Issue, Madonna is sure one hot babe. It’s a wonder how she was able to keep up those curves and still look ten years younger. I guess the better phrase is how amazing what money and science can do.

I don’t know but this cover actually reminds me of Angelina Jolie during her Lara Croft days; it’s probably because of the costume and the background of the photo. What do you think?

Although I’m all praises about Hollywood veterans still (trying) looking hot and sexy despite their age, I still believe and think that it’s high time stars like Madonna and Demi Moore should act and LOOK their age.

Just take a look at Madonna’s cover for her latest album, Hard Candy. I know it sure is steamy hot. In fact it proves true to Madonna’s claim that it will “kick your ass�. With the pop diva sporting on a wrestling belt and in a steamy pose, Madonna once again proves that her sex appeal is still there and never fades.

Well, it sure is still there, but never fades? Come on, I know a lot would disagree but this photo would have been really really hot 15 or 20 years ago. Okay, nothing’s wrong with looking and feeling young. However, I think it’s time for Madonna to really do some moderation.

No question about her sex appeal, just that, she’s a mother for Pete’s sake!

Hey guys! First I would like to ask an apology for missing to update this blog for almost four days. I’ve been totally busy with my job interviews, passing of applications, and all; I’ve got to do what I have to do.

I’ve been talking much haven’t I? Anyway, for today’s post let’s check out the two different mag covers for April 2008 (yeah, I am not over with the mag covers yet) of Hayden Panettiere. And when I say different, I mean REALLY different; one’s for the teens the other one’s for the ‘non-teens’.

Well I am referring to Hayden’s covers in Cosmopolitan and Seventeen, respectively. And did I say different? For Cosmo, Hayden confidently shows that sexy body while ‘confessing’ about her being a good ‘bad’ girl. With topics about sex and men, this GQ Obsession of the Year in 2007 sure reveals the naughty side of her.

On the other hand, a charming, young, and jolly Hayden makes the cover of Seventeen’s April 2008 issue. For the teen mag, the 18-year old Hayden talks about being a girl; the clothes she wear and the kind of outfit she has. Aside from that, the hottie Heroes star also opens about the fight she had with the whalers in Japan and why voting matters. Well that’s Hayden the teen idol speaking.
I guess Hayden’s just a Jack of all trades; two personalities in two different covers in one same month. This girl’s star power sure is dominating Hollywood these days. But what can we do, she’s an all-around star? Wholesome yet sexy and hot!

Lately I noticed that most sources or blogs I check into feature various stars on the cover of various magazines’ April 2008 issue. Well I thought of putting them all here (or at least most of them) in one ‘big’ post. But since we’re talking about more than two stars on mag covers, versus would not be the appropriate word to use; it’s war of the magazine covers here in Celebrity Fashion Watch.

Let’s get ready to rumble!

Doing Elle’s April 2008 issue is Natalie Portman going casual with a hint of attitude clad in a pair of jeans and shirt. For a fashion mag, being spunky is quite odd. Looks like Nat’s really prepared for the ‘war,’ huh?!

If Nat’s like ready for a fight, Hillary Duff is the opposite. Looking charming and sweet in red, the 20-year-old teen sensation graced the cover of Lucky Magazine. I guess being glamorously wholesome would be Hil’s special weapon here.

Here’s the cover that would seem to outdate all these covers, Material Girl, Madonna in the latest issue of Dazed and Confused Magazine. Talking about preparing for battle, Madonna literally brings people dazed and confused of her real age. Femme fatale!

Now that we’ve mentioned about femme fatale and age, I don’t think Demi Moore would also be outlasted. Being the cover girl for April of Harper’s Bazaar, the 45-year-old wife of Ashton Kutcher proves still of her sex appeal. Shall we thank botox and liposuctions for that, Demi?! ***wicked smile***

If the two previous ‘oldies’ prove they’re still hotties, I think Janet Jackson’s Ebony cover is the otherwise. For glam battle, I think she’d lose badly to Demi. This is just not hot for me.

Talking about glam this time, I guess Victoria Beckham’s cover on British Vogue is just oh so glamorous. Totally Victoria!

Declaring “I am what I am� in the March 2008 issue of Paper Magazine, Lindsay Lohan somewhat brings people to thinking, “So this is what she really is?�

Goodness! Her photos is downright disturbing, not to mention sluttish. I guess this does not take any genius or good taste to say how horrendous Lindsay looks here. Did I just say sluttish?! Well I mean a cheap prostitute. That’s exactly how Lindsay looks in this cover. And she call this “I am what I am,� huh?!

Okay, given that she wants to show the world she is a woman now, is it a necessity to show it by looking so… cheap? Sorry LiLo, this doesn’t look close to being seductive nor mature at all. I’d rather see you imitating Marilyn Monroe than this one here.

Doing the cover for InStyle’s March issue, Eva Longoria is definitely looking fresh and in-love! Clad in a halter yellow and gray printed dress ready for spring, Mrs. Parker is a sight to behold.

For the mag’s interview, the 32-year-old Desperate Housewives star, talks about life as a married woman. Being married to NBA superstar, Tony Parker, Eva mentions her say on attaching Parker to her last name. “I love my new name. In Texas people are so formal, so it’s ‘Mrs. Parker.’ I feel old! But I love it.�

Aside from her non-tiring yap about her married life, Eva also dished about fashion, bragging her more than 200 pairs of shoes and 50 pairs of jeans! Like WOW!

Looking at the cover, Eva sure is having the time of her life.

Well since we were talking about a magazine cover on my previous post, we might as well continue with the topic. This time, let’s talk about another celebrity. It’s Fergie on the cover fof Australia’s Cosmopolitan magazine.

And just like any other celeb covers, Fergie’s does not make so much of a difference; it’s still the usual thanks to Photoshop and lights kindava cover.

Why am I all praises with Jessica Alba’s and not now with Fergie’s? It’s actually because I just find the latter’s cover overly done. I mean do they hate Fergie this much? Come on, she looked so old, so Photoshopped, and so plastic (literally). As to why Fergie agreed to use this photo for the cover still makes me wonder.

Oh, well it’s a good thing her Blender cover was freakin’ hot!

From Victoria Beckham’s sickly look and Mena Suvari’s I-don’t-know-what-to-call-that gown, I really thought Celebrity Fashion Watch would all just be helluva fug-it-yourself drama this year. Fortunately there’s this star that made my day bright and actually made me have a change of mind. – Jessica Alba.

Of course everybody knows that I am a big fan. But seeing Jess’s photos for Elle’s February cover, I bet you too would find yourself hypnotized.

Sporting a flirty Gucci strapless minidress on the mag’s cover, the mum-to-be is just radiant with uber-sexiness and seduction. Oh, I just can’t help wanting to be just like her… SUPER!

You know what’s so great about Jess is that she can dress up anything she wants, wherever her mood takes her, and she still looks just perfect. Well she better savor that moment until that baby bump grows. And from then, it’s goodbye skinny jeans and body-fitting shirts.
