Renée Zellweger Doesn’t Like To Shop

Tuesday, March 27th, 2007

Okay, it’s a slow time of year. I understand that- awards season is over, there aren’t yet summer vacations for the paps to snoop on, not much is going on. Probably most of the photographers are taking their annual vacations to wherever it is photographers go on vacations. Nobody is paying much attention to celebrities.

But that is no excuse, Renée, for wearing the same dress you’ve worn 70 bajillion times before.

Renee Zellweger

I mean, honestly. I can guess this dress is Carolina Herrera without even looking, and I swear I’ve memorized the line of your bony shoulders. It’s a great look for you, or at least it was 5 years ago when you first started wearing it, but now it’s just been done, honey. Please, please, for the sake of all of us who are still paying attention to what you’re wearing, try something different. Maybe a pretty tie-neck like that red one Nicole wore to the Oscars? I promise you’ll look great, you’re skinny enough and pale enough to pull off anything you want.

Just NOT another strapless Carolina Herrera sheath, I’m BEGGING YOU.

Kelly Ripa Needs Potato Chips, Stat

Tuesday, February 6th, 2007

I understand that Kelly Ripa probably burns a lot of calories during the day. She has 3 or 4 kids, as I understand it, which probably means a lot of running around and picking things up. And she gets up very early in the morning, which is not the most hungry time of the day. And I hear smiling burns more calories than frowning, and she sure does a lot of smiling.

But no amount of perkiness or 5 am calls can explain this.

Kelly Ripa

I can see all the ridges on her breastbone. And her head, it looks enormous on her. And the little bones on her wrist, the ones that I can only see on myself if I tweak my wrist a little, on her they are positively pointy. Girl seriously needs some meat on her bones.

Love the coat though.

VERY Pretty Dress, Though

Tuesday, December 12th, 2006

I’ve always had a soft spot for Michelle Williams. She’s the oft-overlooked 3rd Child of Destiny. . .not Beyonce, not Beyonce’s childhood sidekick, but the late-season replacement for the uppity members who quit. I’ve sort of always wanted to sit down with her and find out how she appears not to care that she’s the least famous, the one who managed to deal with the diva and her father without lawsuits or any kind of public disagreement.

Looking at this picture, I’m thinking that sit-down should take place over a really hefty steak dinner.

Michelle Williams

I don’t know what’s going on here, with the skeletal arm and the bobble-head and the surprisingly large breasts, but I don’t like it. That dress is gorgeous, but I can’t focus on it for worrying about her wrist snapping from the weight of her clutch.
