So okay, I admit, I really am not a fan of Mariah Carey’s fashion. Why? Because I’ve always thought that her definition of bringing sexiness in a look is showing more and more skin.

Visiting MTV’s TRL at MTV Studios in New York yesterday, the newly wed singer sported on a multi-colored micro-mini skirt paired with a light blue three-fourths tied to expose her sexy belly and navel.

Miley Cyrus may be branded as the next Britney Spears with her intense popularity to kids and teens alike, but her fashion sense proves that she’s no Brit in the making.

Visiting MTV’s TRL studio last Friday, the 15-year old teen actress, singer, and songwriter was mesmerizing in a white nature-printed maxi dress. With those flowers and butterflies on her dress, Miley actually looked like a beautiful nymph in a forest… Breathtaking!

With this tiny waist, beautiful face, and jaw-dropping figure, who would’ve thought 35-year old German fashion model and fashion designer, Heidi Klum is already a mother of two?

Sporting on a one-shouldered black frock and stylish sunglasses, Seal’s wife took everybody’s breath as she visits “Late Night with Conan O’Brienâ€? at NBC Studios in New York City yesterday.

After several disastrous fashion statements, I was already starting to think that Anne Hathaway may have already lost that ‘magic’ in her.

However, seeing her photos at a photocall to promote her latest movie, “Get Smart� in Rome, Italy, I was just mesmerized and captivated.

Well probably not as bad as Renee Zellweger needs when she attended the premiere of Leatherheads in Kentucky. Nonetheless, Fergie may still need to seek help taking off those grease on her face during the 2008 ASCAP Pop Awards in Hollywood, California.

Okay, in defense to Fergie, it could just be the make-up. For all we know that’s just how an expensive blush on work. But what about the T-zone?!

Fergie’s long halter gown doesn’t even vindicate her having an oily face.

Well the frock’s not ugly ugly but it isn’t beautiful either. It’s just oh-so typical.

It’s actually disappointing seeing Fergie slowly losing her ‘usual’ glamorous and drop-dead gorgeous fashion. Remember her Lara Croft wanna-be attire during the Idols Give Back?! Geez, what is happening to her?!

It’s a Saturday here. And as much as I’m feeling so lively and gay, I noticed that my previous posts for this week has been all about women celebrities and their fashion statements, or at least related to that. So I thought of breaking a bit of the girl power monotony for this week and feature a man. I know, I have my Beautiful Man of the Week category. However, I realized I should give some space too to men celebrities who aren’t known to being beautiful per se, but made fame through sheer talent.

Today’s Man of the Week is Bruce Springsteen.

Well I’m neither a fan nor a follower, but my father is. So I guess I’ll just have this some sort of ‘present’ for him.

Born Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen on September 23, 1949, Bruce, also known as “The Boss� is a famous songwriter, singer, and guitarist. Most people, including my father consider him a genius when it comes to expressing everyday and ordinary problems of man. I guess this is why he earned numerous recognitions and awards already encompassing various Grammy Awards and sold out Bruce Springsteen tickets.

Aside from being a brilliant music artist, Bruce is also noted for supporting relief and rebuilding efforts in New Jersey after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

As an icon for rock, heartland rock, and folk music, Bruce Springsteen sure made, and still continues to make impact to the public.

I was actually smiling over this photo of Christina Aguilera in People.com’s Style Watch Poll with a caption that says: “The new mom enjoys a night out in Los Angeles in a simple outfit topped with a trendy ombré bag.�

Tell me, did she look enjoy at all? Well I guess not. In fact, anybody who sees the photo can actually say that the new mom looks upset rather than enjoying. I like the outfit and the dark lipstick though. For someone who just gave birth, it’s amazing how Christina got her sexy body back in a short span of time.

Anyway, I guess Christina knew that the photo was taken for People and she remembered how Nicole Richie and baby Harlow’s People cover beat her and baby Maddox’s in terms of sales. Wooo… I wonder if she looked like this when she threw tantrums and fired her publicist for the low sale turnouts of her mag cover.

Next time I suggest People should consider the photo posted first before writing some description. ***Smiles***

It looks like the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals a.k.a. PETA is doing a good job with their advocacy with more and more celebrities doing their campaigns. Next to names like Alicia Silverstone, Jorja Fox, Casey Affleck, and Eva Mendes, the organization takes in Sir Paul McCartney and Jenna Jameson in the list.

Wearing a PETA shirt with “Eat No Animal� printed on it, Paul McCartney is a picture of a fulfilled musician and proud vegetarian. I love the cow print on the shirt actually. I think it would be the latest trend in men’s wear in no time. ***Smiles***

Looking at Paul’s photo it makes one think that authority really comes from time and experience.

Living up with her title as queen of the adult film industry, Jenna Jameson is PETA’s star for their “Pleather Yourself� ad. With her wearing a pleather bra for the campaign, the former porn star invites women to “discover the pleasure of pleather� making it an alternative to leather. Interesting, huh?!

It’s a beautiful yet boring Sunday. I’m browsing over the Internet for some interesting post today yet I was caught in this usual writer’s block. I can’t seem to think of something to write. Like whose look am I going to critique now or what trend is so hot in Hollywood these days? Gosh, I need something refresh my mind; some diversion perhaps.

I’m actually thinking of checking a list of online slots that I can play while I’m in this state of boredom. Well a good list for that matter; one that provides comprehensive reviews and/or recommendation as to where to get the best slots in the Internet. Maybe this way I’ll get a kick for myself and get over this writer’s block thing.

You see this is my problem when I get too hard on myself. I want to give you, my readers the best that Celebrity Fashion Watch can offer that it deciding for a topic for the day takes so much time. That is how I love you guys!

Have you ever been in a situation where you can’t seem to get contented with what you are doing anymore? Well I’ve been; actually I AM. For more than seven months of enthusiastic blogging about fashion and the latest trends, the idea of expanding my horizons and widening my knowledge in the fashion industry just occurred to me.

Blame it to Project Runway that I just watched minutes ago, suddenly writing about the hits and misses in celebrity fashion just seems to be not enough for me anymore. I want to be in the action of designing and making fashionable and glamorous frocks. And the thought of scrolling over New York fashion schools just hit me. I want to study about fashion!

Well wanting to pursue a fashion career would definitely require me to get the best fashion school in New York. So where to? Hmmm… Which fashion schools New York would bring me closer to my dream to be a famous designer like Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, and Ralph Lauren?

Oh, well that would surely be expensive. So I guess I’d have to leave that dream for now.

Yeah, a dream. I’m smiling at myself thinking about what I would be if I take this really seriously. Would my fashion creativity be enough to make it to the runway? Well that’s just one thought.

But since this kind of dream would surely take a lot from me, financially speaking, I guess I’d have to settle on blogging for now. Well this would be a good preparation while I am slowly making that dream into a reality, right?!

You know what’s actually the best thing being a blogger for this blog? It’s that you get to act and feel like a real critic of the stars. Reading my previous posts back then, it tickles me to think that I was talking as if I’m really tight with the Hollywood celebs calling them with their nicknames, giving them some piece of advice in terms of fashion. Speaking of Spock.com, I guess it’s not that bad to actually visit the site. It’s free and easy to navigate. You get to search various people either by their names or e-mails. Hmmm…. Actor singer? Oh I love Will Smith; would be great to find out the latest happenings in his career. Britney Spears? Nah, no need to search for her name. Mmmm… Jessica Simpson, ah she’d be great to ‘be-friend’. What about Jennifer Lopez? This is one great resource for all links, news, and sites related to our much-loved actor singers.

Sigh, I guess I’m getting too overwhelmed feeling close and ‘friends’ with the stars, huh?! Let’s just call this the Celebrity Fashion Watch effect.

Almost three months ago, it has been announced that Madonna and luxury fashion maker, Gucci have teamed up to raise funds for the orphans in Malawi, one of South Africa’s impoverished nations.

As the scheduled fundraising event took place last February 6 in New York City, it is actually not a surprise that big celebs would be present to show support for this important cause. Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes (in her ravishing red gown), (my love) Orlando Bloom, Brooke Shields (who was absolutely a knock-out beauty despite her age), Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Demi Moore and her hubby Ashton Kutcher are just some of the stars who graced the event with their presence and support for the fundraising activity and witness the opening of Gucci’s largest store throughout the world.

Kudos to all these stars! And I may not be Madonna, but thank you for supporting this event.

I’ve been blogging for almost a year now. And in that span of time, and now with four blogs to maintain, I never actually imagined I’d have this love for blogging.

I could still remember the first time I applied as a blogger here in 451press. After filling up the application form, I was asked to choose which blog I prefer to fill in, and quite honestly I never had a second thought choosing this blog, Celebrity Fashion Watch. Why its name was too catchy to ignore. I guess 451press really thought hard enough for this site’s domain registration.

It had a shaky start with only a hundred page views a day. But two months later I already topped the search engine for celebrity fashion keywords. My blogging life could never get happier than that. Good domain name and good web host, I guess I just got lucky.

Sigh, I think I’m getting all too sentimental with my blogs now; my babies….

Since I was in high school, I have always had that liking on Sarah Michelle Gellar’s fashion statements. They’re comfortable and girly without having to be saccharine. You could say that Mrs. Freddie Prinze, Jr. has really some taste for fashion.

However, I think the actress’s taste at “The Air I Breathe� premiere in Los Angeles is somehow a miss. To start, she added some five to seven years of her real age ‘coz she really looked so old and the gown’s just not so glamorous and fabulous for my taste. Okay, the frock’s not really that disastrous, in fact I like its icy shade. It’s just that I think Sarah could’ve found something better than that Egyptian-inspired neckline. Well that, and a new make-up artist.
