A lot may have been said about the recently celebrated 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards; may it be the winners, the hosts, or just the event itself, one thing that’s for sure, the Emmy’s has always been a night of fashion.

Two days after the event and I still can’t get over from the glitters and glamour brought by the stars’ fabulous fashion statements. It’s a good thing someone sent me this video from CNN featuring the news network’s coverage of the Emmy’s red carpet fashion highlights.

From men to women celebrities, everybody indeed made sure they’re on their most glamorous and most eye-catching fashion statements.

Unfortunately though, no matter how hard some stars try to look their best, some still end up getting a fashion miss. Check out the list of Emmy’s hits and misses here.

Being considered one of the most (if not the most) prestigious awards nights in television entertainment, the Emmy Award has always been a to-look-forward-to event for the stars.

You’ve seen the first batch of our Emmy Awards celebrity fashion coverage. Now here’s a continuation of our mission to check out last night’s best and worst looks.

Although I first mentioned on my previous post that black and white seem to be quite predictable for this event, I must give it to this Starter Wife actress for giving a super classy and glamorous black fashion statement.

Wearing a her black silk tulle gown straight off Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2009 runway and Fred Leighton diamonds, I just can’t help but be mesmerized with this gown. It’s just oh-so beautiful!

So you’ve seen Jordin Sparks and the rest of the stars in their most glamorous and fabulous looks at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday. But did you know that Jordin’s eye-catching look wouldn’t be complete without Pantera?

Whew! It seems like we really can’t get enough of last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. We already had two batches of the various celebrity fashion looks at the event.

Now, here’s the last and final batch of those looks that hit and missed last night.

Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna… I guess being edgy and different is just her way of presenting who she is. And always on her daring self (when it comes to style), the singer graced the event with a layered and gilded bustier dress with white T-strap pumps matching her platinum streak in a cropped ‘do. While I can’t say that I so love the frock, I guess her pumps did the magic for me. – Love it!

You’ve already seen the first batch of the various interesting looks (both best and worst) at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards last night on my previous post. And now, let’s continue with our celebrity fashion scope on the recently concluded awards night.

Starting off the second batch is the night’s biggest winner, Britney Spears in a glittering vintage Atelier Versace dress matched with Platt jewels and Jimmy Choo heels. So it took her a year to ‘recover’ from her last year’s VMA disaster number, but Britney showed she indeed can make her comeback. Britney bagged three Moonmen that include the night’s big honor, video of the year, for her hit “Piece of Me.”

We’ve seen Jessica Alba and America Ferrera show off their looks at the recently conducted ALMA Awards. But what about the other stars who also graced the event last Sunday at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium?

Here’s a post dedicated to those celebrities.

Starting from the youngest in the group, Ashley Tisdale definitely looked hot and lovely with her oh-so sexy yellow dress. Other times I would have thought of this look as another-young-star-trying-to-look-mature, but I guess there’s just something with Ashley’s aura that tells me otherwise.

I just love this look.

I got bored with Rachel Bilson’s Brian Reyes asymmetrical dress and got displeased with Scarlett Johansson’s peach frock. Let’s see what we can say with Vanessa Hudgens’s look at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards.

Well for the event, the 19-year-old High School Musical star dons on a tiny, tiered Catherine Malandrino minidress and super-straight locks. Is it a hit? Of course it is!

The Teen Choice Awards is an annual awards show presented by FOX. It honors the year’s biggest achievements in music, movies, sports, and television voted by teens raging from 13 through 19.

Yes, the teens! So I guess that may be the reason why actress Kristen Bell got too excited for the event that she automatically rushed to her closet and wore this eyesore Jenni Kayne fuchsia skirt.

Well it has been another night for Glamour magazine’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards. This is the event where the achievements of women in their various fields (i.e. film, TV, music, theater, business, literature, and sport) are recognized.

And where there is women, of course there fashion. So who are Celebrity Fashion Watch’s best dressed celebrities at last night’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2008? Check this out…

Making a red hot attendance at the event is Heroes hottie, Hayden Panettiere. The 18-year-old actress and Glamour Women of the Year awardee for Aussie Hair Care Newcomer was clad in a red number that’s so her age.

For a long time blogging here in Celebrity Fashion Watch, I thought I’ve already seen it all in terms of red carpet fashion. However, watching the stars walk the red carpet during the 2008 CMT Music Awards, I realized there are still a lot that I haven’t seen in celebrity fashion.

And of course talking about celebrity fashion, the hits and misses are inevitable. For this event, the word ‘most’ would probably be its theme.

So check out the looks that are most at the CMT Music Awards red carpet.

The most common look goes to musician Taylor Swift. Tell me, when the last time you haven’t seen anybody wearing this kind of frock? The plum shade though is a relative innovation yet the look itself is oh-so done!

We’ve seen five of the looks that I think topped during the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards last night. To recall, these are the charming looks of America Ferrera in gold, Brenda Song in floral prints, and Jennifer Love Hewitt in sunny yellow. Then there’s the sexy gray frock of Ashlee Simpson and the ‘leg-flaunting’ dress of Cameron Diaz.

And we are not through yet. Here’s the continuation of the lookers (both hits and misses) during the event:

The reds. Well if a pair of red shoes is now a staple, then I guess a red dress is, too. However, I still believe pulling off a red frock still has risks. For Heroes star, Hayden Panettiere it may look great, but to American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks it didn’t. I have so much respect to Jordin’s talent, but I think her talent doesn’t extend well to fashion. She just looks so bulky with this red dress. Gee, Jordin looks like she’s about to explode!

Hello! It’s a beautiful Sunday everyone. And while most of you is enjoying the weekend by relaxing and other stuff, here I am busy doing this post.

Last night was a big night for the kids and teens in the US as the annual Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards took place at the Pauley Pavilion in Westwood, California.

Well among the many award events in Hollywood, I must say that the Kids’ Choice have always been one of my favorites simply because the stars seem to be more wholesome, casual, and comfortable with the event. That is of course in the fashion aspect.

So, whose looks topped (and flopped) for this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards?

Here they are:

The girl in gold, America Ferrera sure dazzles in her charming and elegant frock. Did she lost weight or it’s just the dress? Anyway, this one’s really cute and appropriate for the event. And of course I’ve always loved the wholesomeness of this Ugly Betty star.

It’s Versus time again, ladies and gentlemen. Today’s Versus edition is still related to our Oscars coverage; featuring two of the best looks at the 80th Academy Awards. – Hot momma, Jennifer Garner and sexy mom-to-be, Jessica Alba.

Who do you think wore the best make-up at the event?

For Mrs. Afleck, being the first presenter of the night means giving an impact to the audience. To do this, Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai, her hairstylist, put emphasis on her eyes through black cat-eye liner paired with shimmering nude lips.

I personally like those slashes on her eyes; they’re definitely eye catching. Jen’s make-up sure hit well with her skin tone that they look so natural.

Cash Warren’s fiancé on the other hand, is like a modern goddess with her braided updo made by her hairstylist, Robert Ramos. Add that with golden eyes and sun-kissed glowing skin, and viola, one truly divine and mesmerizing look!

Now I know you have your own bets for Oscars best looks, but with these two as the choices, you do you think looked better than the other?

The red carpet would probably be one of the highlights at the 80th Academy Awards; stars of glittered more with their signatured gowns and expensive jewels. However, with among the varied colors and designs of these frocks, one became supreme among the stars. – One-strapped gowns.

Whether they want to feel and look like a goddess or not, stars like Katherine Heigl, Hilary Swank, Anne Hathaway, Amy Adams, and Diane Lane definitely looked so enchanting with their different versions of the one-strapped.

Venus? Pandora? Which star fits whom? Who looked best, who looked worst?

I know all of you have your own bets for the best and worst dressers, but point is, these single-strapped flowing gowns sure are making big in the Red Carpet.

From the faces and dresses that astounded and enchanted all of us at the Red Carpet of the 80th Annual Academy Awards comes the group of stars that (believe me) dressed so unbelievably. Yes, somebody looked more horrible than the Queen of Hearts, Heidi Klum.

Here’s the post that probably most of you have been waiting for; the worst dressers category.

Cameron Diaz. Oh no, she ain’t that horrible. In fact, Miss Diaz was in her usual glamour and fab look. However, I’m thinking Cam has just got too much of the usual in her; like I’ve seen her with this kind of look (not necessarily identical) so many times before. I guess the only thing that seems to be relatively novel is her defined muscles.
