Fashion at the ESPY Awards: Who hit it, who miss it? (Part 3)
Friday, July 17th, 2009Well the first two batches have been relatively disappointing with most of the personalities not showing anything that really took us in awe. We hope in this third batch we see something different and inspiring.
So, shall we?
Off to your wedding Miranda? Guess not. Still, this white Calvin Klein haltered gown that Miranda Kerr had looked fabulous even in the red carpet. My problem with this look? – Her ‘do that seem to be so off for the event. A different style, maybe?
Bruce Jenner’s daughter, Kendall also graced last night’s event in an age-appropriate white frock. But although the frock was sweet and charming like her, I think it still did not miss to showcase the young personality’s budding sex appeal.
Goddess-inspired frocks are always hard to miss in red carpets; they seem to have that magnet that attracts anybody’s attention. And so it’s no wonder why swimmer Jessica Long got people turning their heads with her navy embellished Grecian gown.
Wearing a design from the Donna Karen Collection, Australian golf superstar Anna Rawson definitely gets a thumb up from me. What I actually love most in this look is the way it played simplicity and sophistication. Anna did pull this off well.
Finally, the last feature for this batch and our ESPY Awards coverage is Demi Moore in this custom-made Zac Posen Resort 2010 cold-shoulder dress. She isn’t an athlete, yeah, but we appreciate the fact that Demi seem to have downplayed in the fashion department to pave way for the night’s real stars, the athletes.
Well there go our ESPY Awards Celebrity Fashion Watch coverage. Whose look did you enjoy the most? Whose bored you?
