If there’s one look that has noticeably become a trend in terms of celebrity fashion then it would have to be the goddess look. Lately, more and more stars have donned on frocks and gowns literally inspired from the fashion of Greek and/or Roman goddesses.

Well not bad if you ask me. After all, with these stars’ beauties they indeed have the right to be called the gods and goddesses in modern times. However, it wouldn’t be quite okay if stars don’t just look like goddesses but they, too also look the same!

Two stars in one look is not new here in Celebrity Fashion Watch. But three celebs in one (same) goddess look is a first here.

In fairness to Tom Cruise’s wifey, Katie’s the first one who took this Grecian goddess look in this blog when she donned this Lanvin dress paired with Chrisitan Louboutin peep toes during the 13th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards. Well at that time I thought the look was just so busted like she just came from a shower rather than attending a special event. After four months, my opinion still holds the same.

It’s been quite a while since I last wrote an entry about celebrities somewhat thinking alike wearing the same frock (of course in a different time and place). I actually once thought of Gwyneth Paltrow as among those stars who rarely go wrong in fashion. In fact, I once named her a Fashion Empress here in Celebrity Fashion Watch almost a year ago. However, although Gwyn can hit it off well with her fashion statements, I realized that just like any other celebrities, she can also be a subject to a fashion disaster.

Promoting her latest film, Iron Man in Berlin, the 35-year-old actress sported on two frocks in one day. Sadly though, I think one of this look is a disaster though one is a definite hit.

Can you tell which is which?

On the left side of the photo is Gwyneth clad in a sparkling Sonia Rykiel frock paired with super-high Christian Louboutin heels. Well I think this look is something that’s really Gwyneth; it’s glamorous and elegant. I love the legs, I love the hair, and I love the overall look. Obviously, this one’s the hit!

While the first look is a hit, I think the one on the right is its opposite. – Disaster! Sporting on a frilly Stella McCartney dress over a blazer then paired with a fierce booties, the look is far from being elegant. I just can’t stand the mixing and matching; a sexy frill, plus blazer, plus (weird) boots, and a hair that sure didn’t match with the look. It’s so dowdy that you’d think the one wearing the previous look is different.

But oh well, in the end these are all just my opinion. If you think otherwise, feel free to type in your comment here.

Like any other girls and girly fashionistas, I must admit I’m one of those who fancy the shades of pink when it comes to frocks, shoes, and accessories. I don’t know, but I’ve always thought of pink as cute and charming and just oh-so feminine.

Anyway, I guess it’s not just me and other girls out there who have that special affection for pinks. Even stars like Elizabeth Hurley, Evelyn Lauder, and Gwyneth Paltrow seem to also share with our ‘pink fad’ (for a different reason).

Attending the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hottest Pink Party Ever in New York City, the stars were clad in event-appropriate frocks which are of course in pink shades.

I actually love Liz’s Indian-style, sweet pink gown more than Gwyneth’s fuchsia frock. And Evelyn’s ball gown is just classy.

Well it’s really great to see stars being girly and gay with pink even at least once in a year. It’s cute not to mention sweet to see them with these looks.

When you’re a star (specially a big one), fashion is really important to make impressions (either good or bad). This year, People magazine released its choice for the best dressed celebrities. So let’s see who made it to the list.

Topping the list is Destiny’s Child’ Beyoncé Knowles. Well I must agree, Beyonce never miss to get the people’s attention whether in the red carpet or in busy streets.

I guess it’s pretty normal for celebrities to get a fashion hit on one event then get a miss on the next one (vice versa). Unless they’d wear their fashion hit attire over and over again, they would really have to go through a time when they are caught by some fashion police.

For Gwyneth Paltrow’s case here, one spelled glam, the other a sham.

Attending the special movie screening of Director Jake Paltrow’s “The Good Night,” Gwyn somewhat looked as if she just came out from the shower. Well it’s either that or she wanted to promote some cow’s milk because of that black and white spots. And the hair? It’s another not-so-glam do for someone like her.

I so love the pic next to it though. Gwyneth here is in her usual royal fashion icon image. With that Marc Jacobs dress and Prada shoes, elegance is an understatement. But although I just fell in love with the dress, the hair is still a miss. Come on Gwyn… “The Hair!!!�

I guess Hollywood goes black and white this time. Gwen Stefani, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Scherzinger, Sienna Miller, and Sarah Jessica Parker are just some of those who’ve painted the town in bold bands of black and white.

Okay, you might want to ask if celebs are really vain and would want to have a perfect A in fashion, why wear horizontal stripes when ‘fashion rule’ says this would make you look fat?

Well, let’s just say that there’s always an exemption on the rule. According to an E! online article entitled Stars in Stripes, “Larger blocks of black and white help to segment your frame, breaking up your look and helping you to appear more trim.�

So if you have the urge and the guts to be part of the black and white league, then it’s never too late.

This is how I like my Gwen.

Oh Gwen, you look lovely. So soft, so sexy, no crazy black-hole hairstyle, no weirdly 70’s straight wig, no Gucci-knockoff double G logo, and no sunglasses! When you dress like this, I remember how freaking gorgeous you are and I forgive you the weird chula phase, and the violent rape of “The Lonely Goatherd,” and all the other formerly unforgivable things you’ve done. That’s how great you look here.

However, you keep your dirty remixing mitts off “Climb Every Mountain” or I will seriously bitch-slap you.
