It’s the last day of May and the last day of summer here in the Philippines. So I thought of bringing in a last minute summer-related post here in Celebrity Fashion Watch. And what better way to represent summer in the context of celebrity fashion but through celebrities in their various swimwear.

Now why don’t we let the celebrities teach us how to get the perfect womens swimwear according to our body types?

Have an athletic body like Cameron Diaz? Why don’t you try halter and thicker straps to draw the attention to your tones shoulder? A ring style bottom is also perfect for those who are active in beach as they will stay in place while giving that sexy feel.

For those who are blessed to have a curvaceous body the Mariah Carey way, a barely-there bikini would surely emphasize more the sexiness in you. Try on a jeweled top and skimpy bottom to get make heads turn on you.

Petite like me…errr.. like Kate Hudson? Well you don’t need to be insecure having a small frame. Flaunt it via striped triangle top that’s just right for those with small bustlines. Stay away from bandeau tops as they just make you look even smaller.

I actually saw this feature at People.com and was really amused of the photo showing Mariah Carey and Victoria Beckham both on their own interpretation of the baseball fashion. I was so amused that I want it too on this blog. After all, I have Versus here as a category.

Today, Celebrity Fashion Watch goes to the fashion “battleground� again as two of Hollywood’s iconic singers, Posh and Mimi show us their fashionable ways of throwing out a pitch in the field.

On Posh. Clad in short-shorts and Dries Van Noten wedge sneakers, Victoria Beckham’s ‘ptiching’ stint at Dodgers Stadium last summer has been one memorable event. Of course, she did not just show the people she could pitch but she was also able to prove that she can be sporty and fashionable all at the same time.

On Mimi. Sporting on her platform heels, denim cut-offs and a tummy-baring satin jacket, the newlywed was beaming as she stepped up the field this week. Mariah yet again just wowed the public not with her brilliant voice but with her curvaceous body. I wonder though if she could pitch well wearing those heels on her feet and her heavy wedding rings on her finger.

To be honest, I’ve never really been a big fan of Mariah Carrey. Well I have friends and relatives who are die-hard fans of her, but I guess I just don’t share the same enthusiasm as they have. She has great voice alright, but her diva attitude is a turn-off for me.

Anyway, to promote her new album, E=MC2, Mimi graced New York City today by switching on the lights of the Empire State Building wearing a pink and lavender ensemble.

Well I never actually thought cute and charming would suit to describe Mariah, but I guess these candy shades did some magic. I love the pink heels so much that I wanted to have one, too! It’s just so lovely and girly!

However, I noticed that the singer’s dress is almost the same like her previous frocks you’d think the colors and fabrics are the only ones that vary. You know, that kind of dress that shows off her boobies that seems to have undergone Houston breast englargement.

Oh well, if Mariah thinks so much of her cleavage as her asset, then let’s just let her be.

By the way, from April 25-27, the Empire State building will be in lavender, pink, and white in her honor.

First and foremost, this post is dedicated to a Celebrity Fashion Watch reader who emailed me and suggested that I do this article about Mariah Carey’s fashion. And because I’m a thoughtful and accommodating blogger (ehem), I am doing this post especially for him/her.

Well Mariah Carey has been known to all as the woman who has the voice. And when I say the voice, I mean a brilliant and absolutely wonderful singer that she is. But does her fashion sense follow with her diva image?

Let’s go back in 2005 to the present and see how Mariah’s fashion evolved, or if there’s any evolution at all.

2005. Big curls, small curls, straight and sleek, blonde, dark blonde; Mariah’s hairstyles can sure go from flirtatious to reserved. Her frocks however has one thing in common; cleavage! One look at it and you’ll know this 38-year-old singer loves her boobies so much! I particularly hate looking at those black gowns that seem to have holes just to display those boobs. Gross!
