Arriving at the 2009 Miami International Film Festival to attend the screening of her short film “Streak” at the 2009 Miami International Film Festival in Florida, Demi Moore is nothing but lovely and fab in her yellow sleeveless dress. Despite the look’s lack of detail and overt accessories, I must say it’s just impressive how Demi was able to pull this off really really well. And for someone who’s not a ‘yellow’ fan, this frock here may make me change my perception on the shade.

CFW Verdict: Hit!

Ashley Greene

Clad in a tube-top maxi dress, Ashley Greene takes a break from the set of “New Moon” to do her part for charity hosting DonateMyDress.org Prom Dress Drive and to encourage teens around the country to donates their prom and special occasion dresses to girls in need.

But while it was good that the actress is in for a good deed, I can’t actually make that as a reason to rave over her err… unglamorous look at the event.

CFW Verdict: Hit for the cause, but MISS for the look!

Putting on a classic look with a twist, Mischa Barton attends the Debut of the Witches Fall 2009 Collection wearing a black frock, black stockings, and black and white pumps.

While I can understand this event is somehow synonymous to an all-black fashion, I believe Mischa could’ve done something more and showed her edge when it comes to dressing up.

CFW Verdict: Miss!

New York Fashion Week has arrived and as always the celebs are showing up in full-style. On Sunday, February 15, Mischa Barton attended the Miss Sixty Fall ‘09 debut. Mischa looked stunning in her 18 kt gold Belize bracelet from the Mahlia Collection. The bracelet is composed of continuous interlinking gold clasps. The links between the clasps are embellished with dainty crosses. The retail value of the Belize bracelet is $8,700.00. The bracelet looks great either alone or paired up with many other bracelets and bangles.

The Mahlia Collection was started by a Greek designer named Konstantina. Konstantina uses nature as her inspiration to design jewelry that exemplifies beauty.

The jewelry in the Mahlia Collection is made in limited quantities in order to protect the individuality of each piece. All of the pieces in the Mahlia Collection are female names. It actually has been quite a while since I last made a Mischa Barton post. Well not that Mischa’s been inactive, but I’ve always thought of the actress’ fashion sense as flawless; not perfect but well-thought.

However, seeing her photo at the Christian Dior fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2009, I couldn’t help but squirm with her look. Goodness! What is this that she’s wearing?!

For one I don’t understand her strapless mini dress. The yellow’s okay and it showcased her long and shapely legs, but there’s just something about it that looked so odd. And of course, need I mention that polar bear-like that she’s carrying on her shoulders?

Come on, we all know Mischa can do a lot lot better than this.

If it’s any consolation, her hair rocked sexiness!

Mischa Barton’s endearing personality and edgy style never really fails to catch my attention.

Either with her unique fashion sense or just her charismatic self, the 22-year-old actress and model seems to always find a way to stand out in the crowd.

Attending the Lupus LA’s 6th Annual Bag Lady Luncheon at The Regent Beverly Wilshire Ballroom last Friday (November 7) in California, Mischa goes all earth fairy-like wearing a green feathered dress with an embellished bodice. To complete the look, she then adds a glittering gold headdress.

While I do adore the earth fairy thing effect on the look, I guess Mischa’s hair would need a little more combing.

But overall, I think this look is just fine.

When I first made the post regarding Lauren Conrad’s look at the celebration of The Hills’ fourth season, I thought the gown was just ridiculous. I mean you know, who would want to wear something that would make their ‘boobies’ look really saggy.

Anyway, browsing over the net, I saw this Fashion Faceoff of People.com featuring Mischa Barton and Lauren Conrad in a ‘fashion battle’ for the Cavalli gown. And guess what, I believe neither of them pulled off the look.

On Mischa

Okay, so on the ‘boobie’ criteria, Mischa did nail it; she made me realize the gown wasn’t really meant to give a drooping effect. However, those enormous flower prints on the waist down just is an eyesore!

On Lauren

Of course you all know how I hate looking at the sag but in fairness to Lauren, she did a better version from waist down for opting to wear a simpler version.

Now I guess I’ll just have to leave the decision on your hands; Mischa, Lauren, or none.

Everybody seems to have had fantasies of becoming a superhero with some extra special super powers. And when I say everybody, I mean stars, too.

Today, in Celebrity Fashion Watch, let’s take a look at my picks of those who hit it at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala “Superheroes: Fashion And Fantasy” in New York City.

First on my list would have to be Christina Ricci in her super fantastic Wonder Woman-inspired pink and red gown. The 28-year-old actress’s look literally showcases what the party’s theme is about; fashion and fantasy. This look would probably be a good inspiration in making various mind map examples.

Well speaking of mind maps, you might as well want to browse over Mappio’s wide library of FreeMind, MindManager, and JPG mind maps. For those of you who didn’t know, a mind map is a diagram used to represent ideas, words, tasks, and other items linked around a central idea or word.

Next hit celebrity fashion is Mischa Barton clad in a jaw-dropping custom-made Missoni gown with ruffled straps and a beaded bodice. Now I’ve always thought of Mischa as a fab dresser but I think this is the first time I saw her in a more daring look. And I love it!

Aside from Christina and Mischa, another celebrity fashion hit at the Gala is Eva Mendes in her gorgeous tidal bridal gown. Oh the look is so surreal like Eva literally putting on the waves. Beautiful!

Despite being at “war�? with the infamous socialite, Paris Hilton, it seems like Mischa Barton could only care less of the heiress as she smugly steps foot and poses in to the Hilton Hotel in Australia for the MTV Australia Awards 2008.

To recall, Paris and Mischa were reported to be having another feud after the latter joined in the Good Charlotte’s last leg of their European tour.

I guess being inside a “Hilton territory�? is enough reason for the O.C. star to look her best (not to mention ready to fight).

So who says a Gladiator look is limited to the footwear only? Well check out Mischa’s “300�? inspired gold and white frock. Matched with stylish white shoes, the look is just oh-so butt-kicking you’d think it would be it would be worth all the coupons you have. I simply love how the 22-year-old actress’s new hair color and bangs added character to this already spunky look.

With Mischa wearing the frock, it would seem like a ‘layman’ would need several Amazon coupons and some jewelry coupon codes to pull off this look.

There would probably be some who wouldn’t agree with my opinion here but I think the key to this look is its being trendy and unconventional. Admit it, not everybody could pull off this dress.
