In bronze, copper, gold, and silver, one would have really thought that except for Cynthia Nixon who opted to go white, the stars of Sex and City have made the premiere of their movie a shimmery night raining with metallics fashion.

For Sex and the City fans out there, well, this is it! This is really is it. I’m sure you would be glad to know that even if the show’s not already shown on Direct TV, finally, the most awaited movie version has come!

Unfortunately, despite having a satellite TV at home, I didn’t find myself a fan of the show. But for the sake of Celebrity Fashion, I will try to level up with the show’s fans (isn’t that sweet?!).

So going back to business, attending the world premiere of Sex And The City: The Movie, the foursome power cast put on their best foot (and dress) forward in London, England. And since I really am not a fan of the show, I’m presuming the movie’s casts were actually dressed according to their characters.

Well you need not have to have DirecTV to see how Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha, and of course Carrie looked at the event.

With only 34 days before the much-anticipated premiere of Sex and the City: The Movie, it’s actually not a surprise to see Sarah Jessica Parker on almost everywhere.

Gracing the cover of French Elle’s latest mag issue, the 43-year-old actress is looking so fresh and youthful in a black balloon dress with a necklace made of several black stones as her only accessory.

What I actually like most of this cover is that warm smile and glow on SJP’s face. Unlike her character on the movie as Carrie Bradshaw who’s a fashion daredevil, the cover shows Sarah Jessica’s own fashion taste. – Girly but classy.

And while other Hollywood celebrities like Madonna, Alanis Morissette and Julianne Moore who seem to have already frequented plastic surgeons in Chicago Illinois, prove hard of their still-selling sex appeal with their daring pictorials, SJP settled to look happy and content with her age here.

And guess what’s next for Sarah Jessica? American Vogue’s June issue cover. Super!

I guess Hollywood goes black and white this time. Gwen Stefani, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Scherzinger, Sienna Miller, and Sarah Jessica Parker are just some of those who’ve painted the town in bold bands of black and white.

Okay, you might want to ask if celebs are really vain and would want to have a perfect A in fashion, why wear horizontal stripes when ‘fashion rule’ says this would make you look fat?

Well, let’s just say that there’s always an exemption on the rule. According to an E! online article entitled Stars in Stripes, “Larger blocks of black and white help to segment your frame, breaking up your look and helping you to appear more trim.�

So if you have the urge and the guts to be part of the black and white league, then it’s never too late.

I have a love-hate relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker. Well, it’s not really a relationship, she has no idea I exist, but you know what I mean. On the one hand, I love Sex & The City. LOVE. Crazy outfits and all. And I heard she got to keep all the clothes from that show, which means I would really like to be friends with her and possibly just hang out in her closet for an hour or seven. On the other hand, she kind of looks like a horse, and sometimes her real-life clothes don’t quite stack up to this fashionista reputation she has.

Right now, I guess I’m on the love side.

Because holy blue sparkles, Batman, do I ever love this damn dress. Alone, but most definitely mostly on her. The color, the color is perfection on her. The fit is lovely- kind of skimmy, just hitting the high points, and not too short but not too long. She doesn’t muck it up with tights or ankle boots or too much jewelry. It’s perfect.

And, totally aside from the point, how perfect is it that she’s wearing this dress to the launch of a clean-water charity? I mean, there’s supporting a charity and then there’s dressing to promote it, right?
