As Hollywood icons, everyone seems to have that notion that celebrities can afford to wear various clothes as they please. But when these stars tend to show they have some favorite dress (read: wearing the same frock/s in different events), some of us would probably be amazed at how “ordinary�? these stars could be.

And frankly, I am quite amazed with Heidi Montag’s tendency to wear a frock twice in two major events in less than a week.

Wearing a Chloe dress and matching shoes Heidi hit Kitson to promote her clothing line, Heidiwood. Days later, The Hills star attended the White House Correspondents Dinner in D.C. clad in the same outfit (with a different bag)!

First and foremost, this post is dedicated to a Celebrity Fashion Watch reader who emailed me and suggested that I do this article about Mariah Carey’s fashion. And because I’m a thoughtful and accommodating blogger (ehem), I am doing this post especially for him/her.

Well Mariah Carey has been known to all as the woman who has the voice. And when I say the voice, I mean a brilliant and absolutely wonderful singer that she is. But does her fashion sense follow with her diva image?

Let’s go back in 2005 to the present and see how Mariah’s fashion evolved, or if there’s any evolution at all.

2005. Big curls, small curls, straight and sleek, blonde, dark blonde; Mariah’s hairstyles can sure go from flirtatious to reserved. Her frocks however has one thing in common; cleavage! One look at it and you’ll know this 38-year-old singer loves her boobies so much! I particularly hate looking at those black gowns that seem to have holes just to display those boobs. Gross!

The first time I saw Rachel Bilson in the big screen was two weeks ago watching her latest sci-fi action flick, Jumper. Paired with another Hollywood hunk, Hayden Christensen, I think Rachel’s lethal weapon is her sex appeal. And of course, she has the making of a great actress.

Anyway, attending the Tokyo premiere of the film last yesterday, Rachel wows everybody as she sports new bangs. I actually have to look up more recent photos of her to at least make a comparison of the actress’ new look.

Indeed, the latter look sure rocks compared to the first. While Rachel looks glam as ever with or without the bangs, I think her new ‘do gives more character in her face; it sure does give so much glow and youthfulness in her.

Celebrities. Oh they seem to have the penchant of reinventing themselves every now and then. I guess they wouldn’t be called as such if they don’t have that ‘ability’ to alter their looks. Well if that is the case, Ashlee Simpson would probably be one dang of a celebrity.

This 23-year old pop rock singer has probably dyed her hair with every color imaginable. There’s black, brunette, blonde, red, and all else you can think of for a hair color (was there a blue or a violet?).

Well just a day before the New Year, Jessica’s little sister has been sporting on a blonde do over soft curls, now just two weeks after the New Year, Ashlee’s her new ‘do as red-haired.

So, is Ashley better off as blonde or her new hair color is so freakin’ hot?!

Yes, they’re back and reunited, we all know that of course. The Spice Girls may seem to have left behind their old fashion statements but I think they also left with it their taste for the present.

We all know Victoria Beckham is back, or shall I say, reunited with her girl group, Spice Girls. But aside from that reunion, there’s another thing that Posh Spice got herself reunited with – her old hair.

Well probably not literally old, but after nine months of sporting a platinum blonde hair, Victoria finally returned to her natural brunette hair color.

You see it’s really amazing how a hair color could affect one’s look. See the difference on Victoria’s?

With her previous hair, Mrs. Beckham is a picture of a stern and independent woman. Her current look on the other hand is more ‘fan friendly’ toning down her strong features. It actually kinda reminds me of the good ‘ol Spice World days. I guess that’s reason for the switch.

As to which look looks best, that’s for you to decide.
