I actually saw this feature at People.com and was really amused of the photo showing Mariah Carey and Victoria Beckham both on their own interpretation of the baseball fashion. I was so amused that I want it too on this blog. After all, I have Versus here as a category.
Today, Celebrity Fashion Watch goes to the fashion “battleground� again as two of Hollywood’s iconic singers, Posh and Mimi show us their fashionable ways of throwing out a pitch in the field.
On Posh. Clad in short-shorts and Dries Van Noten wedge sneakers, Victoria Beckham’s ‘ptiching’ stint at Dodgers Stadium last summer has been one memorable event. Of course, she did not just show the people she could pitch but she was also able to prove that she can be sporty and fashionable all at the same time.
On Mimi. Sporting on her platform heels, denim cut-offs and a tummy-baring satin jacket, the newlywed was beaming as she stepped up the field this week. Mariah yet again just wowed the public not with her brilliant voice but with her curvaceous body. I wonder though if she could pitch well wearing those heels on her feet and her heavy wedding rings on her finger.

If there’s one look that has noticeably become a trend in terms of celebrity fashion then it would have to be the goddess look. Lately, more and more stars have donned on frocks and gowns literally inspired from the fashion of Greek and/or Roman goddesses.
Well not bad if you ask me. After all, with these stars’ beauties they indeed have the right to be called the gods and goddesses in modern times. However, it wouldn’t be quite okay if stars don’t just look like goddesses but they, too also look the same!

In fairness to Tom Cruise’s wifey, Katie’s the first one who took this Grecian goddess look in this blog when she donned this Lanvin dress paired with Chrisitan Louboutin peep toes during the 13th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards. Well at that time I thought the look was just so busted like she just came from a shower rather than attending a special event. After four months, my opinion still holds the same.
At least not literally. But I guess either Emmy Rossum or Jenna Jameson will have to fire their overpaid stylist who gave them this not-so-unique yellow dress.
Well, as we all know, it is every Hollywood star’s aim to get that fashion hit. However, having an identical look is just a nightmare, especially if the look is just a day apart.

Attending a New York charity function, singer-songwriter Emmy Rossum pulled off this sunshine-like gown by pairing it with her sweet face and sunny personality. Well who wouldn’t love looking at Emmy’s warm smile and blushing cheeks (thanks to good ‘ol blush on)? I believe the dress really embraced the youthfulness in her that actually gave that glowing look.
On the other hand, just a day before Emma Rossum’s event, world-famous porn star Jenna Jameson used her lethal sex appeal in pulling off this yellow gown during the Los Angeles premiere of the “Zombie Strippers�. As you can see, the dress sure complimented Jenna’s tan perfectly making her look sexier.

Hey gals and fashionistas alike! Today’s versus edition takes a literal meaning of the word as two of The Hills stars battle it out with their newly released fashion lines. – Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.
Well just after LC (Lauren Conrad) made her debut at the Mercedes-Benz L.A. Fashion Week, her ‘former’ best friend, Heidi Montag came up with her own fashion line bringing their feud to a new level.
Heidi was really vocal about her impression to Lauren’s designs. In an interview with Us Magazine, the 21-year old aspiring singer attacked LC’s ability as a designer saying attending school together, she was the designer and the latter was just like in product development. Woooo… But who really got the best designs?
Contrary to Heidi’s impression, Lauren Conrad’s designs are really chic and classy; it all spells G-L-A-M-O-U-R. Her designs are actually something worth showing off. However, being a high-end fashion line, I don’t think it will be something an ordinary fashionista can afford. I’d probably still have to get myself some bad credit loans to be able to buy any of those.
Well getting some loan is probably a good idea if you badly want to get that Lauren Conrad design you want. But with the increasing number of ‘bad credit’ consumers in the US, I suggest you get the help of Bad Credit Offers. I’m sure it can give you all the solution to your credit needs; including a Lauren Conrad frock. Still, I believe it ain’t practical to spend so much for a dress.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is probably one of those Hollywood celebs who are still rocking with hotness despite their age.
Promoting her latest film, Death Defying Acts in Sydney, Australia, the 38(?!)-year-old wife of Michael Douglas wore two frocks in different events. But which of these looks suit Catherine best?
For the film’s press event, Catherine was clad in a Roberto Cavalli sweetheart neckline dress paired with a Jimmy Choo heels. Well the dress is actually oh-lala that would surely turn people’s heads. What I don’t like is those not-so-sexy curls; it just looked so slutty for my taste.
On the other hand, the actress sported on a Pamella Roland dress in black and white plaid for the film’s premiere in the country. Now gone with curls, Catherine is just oh-so gorgeous. However, it’s the dress this time that’s a turn off. Heck, she looks like Pocahontas here!

Being the supermodel and fashion designer that she is, Heidi Klum would surely look good and elegant in almost everything that she wears. She can go retro or trendy and she’ll definitely still stand in the crowd. Let’s just say this is something innate to all supermodels. – Being able to wear anything and everything with class.
Well that’s talking to the supermodel that she is. But just like normal people, there’s what we call the good and better looks. In this Project Runway host’s case, is she better in covered or revealing?
For the Academy Awards, Heidi was looking dramatically fabulous with her red Dior gown. Okay, I know I said she looked like the queen of hearts with that frock but I guess I missed to see the drama in it.
Then from a dramatic look, Heidi switched to a disco diva with her metallic Roberto Cavalli minidress. Well I like the feel of fun and enjoyment of the dress. She is literally dazzling with it.

Versus time again!
If the last Versus edition was about two of Oscars most beautiful looks, today it’s a comparison of two latest premieres fashion disasters. It’s Camilla Belle against Kate Beckinsale here in Versus.
Attending the premiere of “10.000 B.C.� in Madrid, Spain, actress, Camilla Belle was clad in this turquoise top paired with a long skirt that looks more like a crumpled paper. Really, it looked like the mosaic that my little sister was doing for school. Totally weird!
Speaking of weird, Kate Beckinsale seems to have taken her movie quite too seriously as she attends the “Snow Angels� Los Angeles Premiere in a gown that looks really like…well… a snow angel. It’s not ugly, okay. In fact it looks enchanting. However, too much enchantment can put somebody to sleep I guess. And this one just makes me sleepy.

It’s Versus time again, ladies and gentlemen. Today’s Versus edition is still related to our Oscars coverage; featuring two of the best looks at the 80th Academy Awards. – Hot momma, Jennifer Garner and sexy mom-to-be, Jessica Alba.

For Mrs. Afleck, being the first presenter of the night means giving an impact to the audience. To do this, Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai, her hairstylist, put emphasis on her eyes through black cat-eye liner paired with shimmering nude lips.
I personally like those slashes on her eyes; they’re definitely eye catching. Jen’s make-up sure hit well with her skin tone that they look so natural.
Cash Warren’s fiancé on the other hand, is like a modern goddess with her braided updo made by her hairstylist, Robert Ramos. Add that with golden eyes and sun-kissed glowing skin, and viola, one truly divine and mesmerizing look!

Well I’ve always adored Jennifer Love Hewitt’s sense of fashion. It’s classy, it’s simple, and it always has that charm that seems to be so irresistible. I love the simplicity of this gray dress; its cut and lace are so lovely. Add to that, Jennifer’s charming look was made more possible with the gray shoes. This is a total thumbs up!
On the other hand, Jennifer Morrison’s own showcase of fashion is just oozing with sheer sophistication. Man, I would definitely love having this look when I get to have a ‘real’ job. It’s so chic, glamorous, and professional-looking. Well of course, the fluffy sleeves could go, and the rest works really perfect.

Drew Barrymore would probably be one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women. And I’m not talking about just a mere pretty face. It’s her sophistication and elegance that seems to be innate. Well it shouldn’t be a wonder why People named her number 1 in the list of the most beautiful people in 2007 (and I bet she’d still make it to the list this year).
Clad in her Gucci green and black asymmetrical frock at the 2008 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala, Drew is just so radiant and beaming. Oh I so love the look! I guess everybody would agree that the actress’s look is better than the runway version.
Well I think with Drew’s personality, she can wear rags and still look as fabulous! She rocks!!!

Let’s talk about good, bad, and worst today.
Well to this model walking in the runway, this off-shouldered shimmering dress is a knock-out. It’s sophisticated, it’s classy, and it surely is ultra glamorous. If you take a look at it, the frock seems to have hugged the model’s body gracefully that it truly flatters her sexy hips and shoulder. Now this is one good look!
However, worn by Katie Holmes at the 13th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards, the dress seems to have just lost its magic.
Katie’s attempt to explore the inner Grecian goddess in her with this Lanvin dress and Christian Louboutin peep-toes is just so busted! I guess Katie just mistook the dress for a toga, huh?!
Anyway, good thing for Katie somebody’s to the rescue to take the worst look title…
