We all seem to have been used to seeing stars in parties, the red carpets, and billboards that when we see them (or see a picture of them) living a life of a normal person (e.g. strolling around the streets, shopping) we tend to be a bit fascinated looking at them sans the make-ups and the glittering gowns.

Well of course no matter how they try to dress up and act casually, being stars that they are, they will always stand out in the public.

For today’s entry, it’s stars versus stars on the streets. Let’s see who among these stars still look fab despite the casualness.

It was not until I took over this blog and started writing reviews, rants, commentaries, whatever you call it that pertains to celeb’s latest fashion hits and misses that I learned that I am a fan of Jessica Alba. Well you can just count number of posts I had centered on her unique, glamorous, and chic looks.

And although I have been purposely trying to avoid doing one more entry about her, there are things that are just hard to avoid. With these last three events that Jessica Alba attended, I could not decide which look suits her best. Thus, I decided to put this entry under versus. Again? No, this is not another word war brouhaha versus Avril and Hilary. This is a comparison of the two where everyone may think of a mismatch.

Looking at these photos of Avril Lavigne and Hilary Duff at the Los Premios MTV Latin America (formerly, MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamérica), you could really say that there is actually no point of comparison there in terms of fashion.

Tokyo, Japan – known as the most populous metropolitan area in the world. With a population of over 35 million people, it is not a wonder why this city has also been a center for Hollywood promotional stints like movie premieres, concerts, tours, and bulletin boards.

Yes, bulletins, and call it coincidence, lots of them were unveiled in the same day last October 15. Billboards of big celebs promoting various stuffs; bags, clothes, perfumes, etc.

So you want to know some of these gigantic faces in Tokyo streets? Can you decide which billboard dominates? It’s a battle of the billboards in Celebrity Fashion Watch…

First on the list is Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker’s billboard advertising for Samantha Thavasa store. Wow this one is fabulous! I guess we need to thank Photoshop too for that three years younger look.

It’s versus time again. And today it’s actress Demi Moore against herself in this black and white frocks.

Well we’ve seen Demi in her best and probably in her worst (hint: the Morticia Adams look), now it’s time to decide to which dress she looked better (or worse). Is it with the black billowy dress that she wore at a photocall for Flawless? Or that white Dolce & Gabbana during the world premier of the film?

While Demi appeared to be wearing more her age with that black frock, the white one was projecting a bit of a teenie bopper look. However, I must say that with both dresses, Demi was as if really putting her best foot forward trying to do some classic and modern look.

But if I’d have to choose I’ll check the black one for its simplicity and honesty depicting her real age.

And yes, the change has begun. And since the blog took a day off for about a day or two to do some “re-planning� and “research�; expect better posts from this day on.

While having the time thinking for fresher ideas, I came up with a concept where you decide who wears better, who wears worse. So aside from the usual hits and misses, I will be posting (every now and then) entries which will allow you to do some comparison. The category will be called Versus.

As the name suggests, it will be one celeb versus another or a celebrity versus himself/herself. For comparison basis, those celebs would definitely have something in common.

Today, it will be pop diva Christina Aguilera versus socialite Nicole Richie. So what’s in common? Well I guess I don’t need to stress the “bumping� obvious right? While Christina is blooming with husband, Jordan Bratman in this Hollywood sighting, Nicole also beams with her musician sweetie, Joel Maden walking around New York City.
