Now I sure missed doing a post or this category, and so I am bringing it back to you.

Today, our feature is a celebrity that I’ve always thought to have such great beauty, charm, elegance, and class all in one. – Anne Hathaway.

Yup, the 25-year old actress attended two events at the 65th Venice Film Festival yesterday wearing two different looks. Fortunately and unfortunately, one look is a hit while the other seems to be a fashion miss.

Arriving at the “Rachel Getting Married” photocall at the Piazzale del Casino in Venice, Anne was definitely captivating in her Lela Rose frock. Accenting her tiered dress with a black patent bow belt, Bulgari jewels and sequined Louboutin peep-toes, I am just impressed.

But while her look during the press event showed the blossoming her, Anne’s look at the movie’s premiere at the Sala Grande quite presented otherwise.

Really, what’s with those enormous flowers that seem to hinder her from walking comfortably?!

Enchanting, mesmerizing, and oh-so breathtaking. That is Penélope Cruz as she visited the Late Show with David Letterman last Wednesday.

For the visit, the 34-year old Spanish actress donned on two looks as she heads and departs at the Ed Sullivan Theater. Two looks, in one day, in one star; which look do you think looks best in Penélope?

Life must have been still in a ‘mournful’ mood for Liv Tyler after she and her British rocker husband announced their split up last week. In two different events this week, the actress opted to be in black ensembles. Is this unintentional or her way of expressing her emotions?

I actually once thought of Gwyneth Paltrow as among those stars who rarely go wrong in fashion. In fact, I once named her a Fashion Empress here in Celebrity Fashion Watch almost a year ago. However, although Gwyn can hit it off well with her fashion statements, I realized that just like any other celebrities, she can also be a subject to a fashion disaster.

Promoting her latest film, Iron Man in Berlin, the 35-year-old actress sported on two frocks in one day. Sadly though, I think one of this look is a disaster though one is a definite hit.

Can you tell which is which?

On the left side of the photo is Gwyneth clad in a sparkling Sonia Rykiel frock paired with super-high Christian Louboutin heels. Well I think this look is something that’s really Gwyneth; it’s glamorous and elegant. I love the legs, I love the hair, and I love the overall look. Obviously, this one’s the hit!

While the first look is a hit, I think the one on the right is its opposite. – Disaster! Sporting on a frilly Stella McCartney dress over a blazer then paired with a fierce booties, the look is far from being elegant. I just can’t stand the mixing and matching; a sexy frill, plus blazer, plus (weird) boots, and a hair that sure didn’t match with the look. It’s so dowdy that you’d think the one wearing the previous look is different.

Uma Thurman has been (relatively) known to be one of Hollywood’s elegant dressers. I actually believe this 37-year-old has the power to turn a simple frock into a lethal fashion statement.

And yes, she’s today’s which celebrity look looks best subject.

In bright red or stylish grey? That is the question.

Visiting the “Late Show with David Letterman�? in New York City, the Kill Bill star was clad in a simple bright red frock paired with low-heeled footwear. Now this is what I absolutely mean with Uma’s power of turning plain and dull-looking frocks to an elegant and eye-catching celebrity outfit. Take the dress off Uma and put it on to just somebody, I don’t think it will still have the same ‘awe-ing’ effect.

On the other hand, just a day before the visit to the show, Uma attended the screening of “The Life Before Her Eyes�? sporting on a stylish gown in shades of grey. And yes, it’s another simple gown, no glitters and frills but chic and stylish nonetheless.

So, which look looks best, huh?!

Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Posh Spice would probably one of those stars who I’d rather see clad in fancy signatured clothes rather than in casual outfit. Of course everybody know this is where she’s exactly good at pulling off; -expensive and glamorous clothes.

Anyway, just for a comparison, I put on one of her previous photos where she was clad in a casual tattered jeans and t-shirt and one recent photo of her wearing a white Giambattista Valli frock. Of course she is fabulous in a certain degree to both looks but I believe the latter brought the best in her and the posh in her. She ain’t called posh for nothing, right?!

Having such a slender body, I guess the jeans just made her look so skinny and famished. While the pencil cut frock is just oh-so hot!

It’s a Good Friday folks. Although I really am on a recollection mode today, I guess when it comes to celebrity fashion I have to make a little bit of an excuse. ***Guilty face***

Anyway, it’s time for another which celebrity look looks best. Today, it’s new mom with a new oh-lala body, Nicole Richie.

Satin or black?

Arriving at the DCMA Collective flagship store opening in Los Angeles, the socialite was clad in a sexy satin which flattered her postbaby breasts well. Well Nicole might be complaining of her new ‘bountiful’ front, but I don’t think she’d be able to pull off this dress without that sexy cleavage.

Really Nicole, most women would surely trade anything to have those boobies. Enjoy it while it lasts girl, if it’s any consolation, you won’t have those forever.

On the other side of the photo is Nicole looking classy wearing a Miu Miu frock paired with Louboutins at Prada’s presentation of Trembled Blossoms in Beverly Hills. I certainly think Nicole should flaunt her new curves more often. Anybody could definitely see her transformation from a notorious socialite to a changed woman. This look sure shows a mature and wiser Nicole.

Looking at Nicole Richie with those two different looks makes one surely think that motherhood suits her really well. And it’s not just her post-baby curves I’m talking about, it’s that inner glow and contentment that only a new-born can give.

Hello everyone! Here we go again with another post about which celebrity look looks best. Today it’s Anne Hathaway’s turn to be on the limelight.

Probably one of the prettiest faces in Hollywood, I’ve always believed Anne Hathaway would always look good in whatever dress she would wear. So I thought of comparing two of her recent looks and find out which of them looks best on this Hollywood darling.

On the left side of the photo is Anne attending the American Museum of the Natural History’s annual Winter Dance clad in an asymmetrical beaded taupe frock. The dress’ cut is actually flattering to the actress’ body with emphasis on her beautiful shoulder. What I don’t like is that long wishy-washy sleeves; it looks too distracting.

On the other hand, sporting on a sexy black gown at the Human Right’s Annual Gala in Century, the 25-year-old actress is just breathtaking. This look sure is a winner. It’s simple, it’s classic, and oh-so beautiful.

Need I say which look is the best?

Catherine Zeta-Jones is probably one of those Hollywood celebs who are still rocking with hotness despite their age.

Promoting her latest film, Death Defying Acts in Sydney, Australia, the 38(?!)-year-old wife of Michael Douglas wore two frocks in different events. But which of these looks suit Catherine best?

For the film’s press event, Catherine was clad in a Roberto Cavalli sweetheart neckline dress paired with a Jimmy Choo heels. Well the dress is actually oh-lala that would surely turn people’s heads. What I don’t like is those not-so-sexy curls; it just looked so slutty for my taste.

On the other hand, the actress sported on a Pamella Roland dress in black and white plaid for the film’s premiere in the country. Now gone with curls, Catherine is just oh-so gorgeous. However, it’s the dress this time that’s a turn off. Heck, she looks like Pocahontas here!

So which is which?

Being the supermodel and fashion designer that she is, Heidi Klum would surely look good and elegant in almost everything that she wears. She can go retro or trendy and she’ll definitely still stand in the crowd. Let’s just say this is something innate to all supermodels. – Being able to wear anything and everything with class.

Well that’s talking to the supermodel that she is. But just like normal people, there’s what we call the good and better looks. In this Project Runway host’s case, is she better in covered or revealing?

For the Academy Awards, Heidi was looking dramatically fabulous with her red Dior gown. Okay, I know I said she looked like the queen of hearts with that frock but I guess I missed to see the drama in it.

Then from a dramatic look, Heidi switched to a disco diva with her metallic Roberto Cavalli minidress. Well I like the feel of fun and enjoyment of the dress. She is literally dazzling with it.

So which is which? Should she go on with the drama or show more skin for ‘comfort’?
