Color me Christmas

by Rechelle Tolinero

I am definitely feeling the spirit of Christmas! But I guess I am not the only one who’s giddy with the season as Hollywood stars also bring on the colors of Christmas through their fashion statements.

Today’s In the Trend entry goes green with these celebs marking the season with their Christmas tree inspired frocks. Some made it simple; some made it loud, let’s see which shade of green is a winner and which one’s a loser.

Dancer, Julianne Hough’s sparkling mint green dress at the 2007 American Music Awards is just charming. I just love the dress’ cut as if it has its own mind knowing where and what to emphasize.

Katherine McPhee

I am not really a big fan of bushy green shades like this dress of Katharine McPhee at the Tao Las Vegas 2nd Anniversary Weekend party. It’s just too loud in the eye you’d think of needing the help of Tru Green.

Paris Hilton

Now here’s one sexy way to wear green. Paris Hilton really knows how to make things bold yet sexy….grrrrrr!

Arriving at the premiere of “Enchanted in Hollywood, Sarah Lancaster is beaming sporting on this emerald dress. The frock may have a simple cut, but its hue exudes so much sophistication.

Rihanna

Speaking of sophistication, Rihanna’s fish-shaped gown at the 2007 World Music Awards is one frock to remember. I guess the award-winning singer just has this penchant for loud shades.

Well Jamie Carson’s version of silky green frock reminds of the Christmas balls we hung on our Christmas tree. I don’t know, but I think the dress just looks silly.

Courtney Cox

Finally, here’s what I mean with keeping it simple. Courteney Cox –Arquette’s green jacket is so casual yet so Christmas. I just love Courtney’s simplicity.

Wow that a lot of green! Some frocks made my eyes turn green, some just made me grin. Merry Christmas!
