Fashion glitters and jitters at the Oscars (Part 2)
From the faces and dresses that astounded and enchanted all of us at the Red Carpet of the 80th Annual Academy Awards comes the group of stars that (believe me) dressed so unbelievably. Yes, somebody looked more horrible than the Queen of Hearts, Heidi Klum.
Here’s the post that probably most of you have been waiting for; the worst dressers category.
Cameron Diaz. Oh no, she ain’t that horrible. In fact, Miss Diaz was in her usual glamour and fab look. However, I’m thinking Cam has just got too much of the usual in her; like I’ve seen her with this kind of look (not necessarily identical) so many times before. I guess the only thing that seems to be relatively novel is her defined muscles.
Renee Zellweger. Is it Christmas still? ‘Coz I guess dear Renee’s shining shimmering Carolina Herrera gown was more of an eyesore than a head-turner. Frocks as shiny as this aren’t just my type.
Marrion Cotillard. What the hell is she wearing?! Like how many fish had to suffer for this custom-made Jean Paul Gaultier gown? Surely, the best actress nominee knew she could never look like a mermaid; so just forget any attempts like this.
Adrienne Frantz. What’s with mermaids, huh?! First was a white mermaid, now, a gold one. Is this just the latest trend? I am so over these sea creatures!
Diablo Cody. Is this Cleopatra or just some poor imitation? As a writer herself, Diablo Cody sure could’ve thought something that’s more creative than this.
Oh, Oscars, it never fails to give great entertainment to its audience. And you may agree to this list or not, I guess it’s fair to say that this is what anticipation and expectations in the Oscars mean.
