Here Goes the Misses
Well you’ve seen those celebs who stood out at the American Music Awards with their fabulous frocks. Now it is time to see who totally lost it at the awards show.
Get ready ‘cause you may not agree to some of these. Anyway, nothing personal.
Let’s get it on from bad to worst, starting with this strappy and velvet-y frock of singer Alicia Keys. Although the dress isn’t really that ugly, I guess the straps were a bit of an eyesore.
Now let’s proceed to this I-just-got-it-from-my-momma frock of Mary J Blige. Wow, I think dowdy is still a euphemism here. Not only is the dress so overdone, but the blings were just so heavy for the eye to see.
Oh it’s another “Catch Me I’m Falling� drama with this black with white polka dots frock of Rihanna. Well it’s no question, she is sexy, but I don’t think the dress is. Add to that, her hair somehow reminds me of Michael Jackson’s good ‘ol hair. Rihanna later took home the award for Favorite Female Artist in the Soul/Rhythm and Blues category.
I was honestly put into laughter with Solange Knowles’ tube mini. Guess Beyoncé’s little sister idolizes her so much she’d wear the extra cut of her sister’s dress. Unfortunately though, she didn’t hit it well as much as Beyoncé did. Piece of advice here Solange, go get away from your sister’s shadow.
Well if Solange’s frock was not that impressive, I guess nothing beats this colorful gown Nicole Scherzinger. The frock’s just hideous! A combination of Robin and Superman’s costumes. She’ll only need a head dress and she’s ready to fly.
Whew! It is a big relief that the list’s over.
