Hilary Duff’s mature look; a hit or a miss?
Hollywood really confuses me; the veterans push it too hard to look young and defy their real age while the young ones exert so much effort to look more mature, if not older.
Just take for example Hilary Duff at the 2nd annual Allure magazine “Most Alluring Bodies” exhibit in New York City. Dressed in a gorgeous black strapless, satin Celine frock, the look is neither a miss nor disaster. However, with her big hair and (relatively) heavy make-up I don’t think the look speaks so much of her age.
With her look here, can you actually tell she’s just 20?! I can’t. In fact, I would have mistaken her in her late 20s here. She’s beautiful alright but I think it would’ve been better if she hit it with a more youthful look.
