It’s Av Versus Hil

Again? No, this is not another word war brouhaha versus Avril and Hilary. This is a comparison of the two where everyone may think of a mismatch.

Looking at these photos of Avril Lavigne and Hilary Duff at the Los Premios MTV Latin America (formerly, MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamérica), you could really say that there is actually no point of comparison there in terms of fashion.

Fashion and mass appeal, surely these two are poles apart. Now, let’s go dig in what Avril have that Hilary don’t and vice versa.

Aside from pink highlights that Avril sports and Hilary doesn’t, Avril looks more comfortable and ‘free’ compared to Hil. Maybe that’s because Avril can wear whatever she wants without the word “fashion disaster� in mind. Hilary on the other hand, has every girl would envy; sophistication and elegance. Unlike Avril who seems to have gotten immunity to fashion police already, Hillary always finds her way to top the fashion hits.

Avril’s look would not be complete without the sneakers while Hilary would be incomplete sans the high heels.

Well the two may have a different genre and a way too different fashion statement; it’s undeniable that fans follow either of their paths because they represent the varied faces of a woman.
