Sex and the City World Premiere Fashion Face-Offs
For Sex and the City fans out there, well, this is it! This is really is it. I’m sure you would be glad to know that even if the show’s not already shown on Direct TV, finally, the most awaited movie version has come!
Unfortunately, despite having a satellite TV at home, I didn’t find myself a fan of the show. But for the sake of Celebrity Fashion, I will try to level up with the show’s fans (isn’t that sweet?!).
So going back to business, attending the world premiere of Sex And The City: The Movie, the foursome power cast put on their best foot (and dress) forward in London, England. And since I really am not a fan of the show, I’m presuming the movie’s casts were actually dressed according to their characters.
Well you need not have to have DirecTV to see how Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha, and of course Carrie looked at the event.
Here they are:
Wearing a super sexy velvet black dress, career-minded lawyer Miranda Hobbes (played by Cynthia Nixon) is one sight to behold. And if lawyers would really look this hot despite the age, then I would definitely love to be one! On second thought…
Red=fierce. Samantha Jones (a.k.a. Kim Catrall) rocked the event in a steamy but endearing red frock. Now I so love that dress’s volume for her. Guess it represents so much of her personality.
Conservative and positive Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) is in her usual demure and charming look. I love the look’s simplicity really but I was actually expecting another shade than red. You know, there are four of them and two are wearing clothes of the same shade. Where’s variety there?
Finally, proving of her unique fashion sense, Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) probably took everyone’s breathe away with her go green fashion. Now this look’s what I like most. I mean you know, I don’t think anybody can pull off wearing a flower vase on her head, right?! This has got to be the ‘it’ look for that day.
Well I may not have watched the show on TV but seeing how interesting the characters are, I think I might just want to catch it on cinemas.
