The Looks that rocked the AMA (Part 2)
We’ve seen some of the looks that hit and missed in last night’s 2008 American Music Awards in Los Angeles. There was the fab look of Ashley Tisdale, the so-so look of Jordin Sparks, and the disastrous looks of Christina Aguilera and Colbie Calliat.
Now, it’s time to keep the ball rolling!
Miley Cyrus
Celebrating her actual 16th birthday with glitters and sparkles, teen sensation, Miley Cyrus was definitely sweet and chic in her combination of gold and black frock. One just can’t help but smile with this girl’s youthful glow.
With her funky style and personality, it’s just impossible for Pink to get unnoticed. Her hairstyle may not be something I would want to have for myself, but hey, she pulled it off like only she can.
But while I love Pink’s strapless gown that hugged her body, what worries me is the gown’s fabric that actually looked a little itchy.
Rihanna
Although I am starting to appreciate Rihanna’s ‘unique’ and edgy fashion statements, sometimes it’s just hard to wow on something you hardly understand.
Donning on a Zac Posen Spring 2009 cream layered dress with an asymmetric hem and a high-altitude hairdo, I think Rihanna put her fashion experiment quite over the edge here.
Sarah Silverman
As if forgetting that she’s going to walk in a red carpet, Sarah Silverman attended AMA in a quite too casual outfit.
Now this may be blunt, but what was she thinking putting on this ‘unpresentable’ outfit?!
Did someone even remind her what she’s going to attend to?
Taylor Swift
Looking lethal in her metallic silver dress, Taylor Swift has once again showed off her fashionista side.
That wraps up our list of fashion hits and misses at AMA. Whose look did you like best?
