Tom-Kate and Posh-Becks ‘Compete’ Again
Although these two pairs never really admit there’s competition between them (at least in the fashion department), it is quite obvious that the pairs, Tom and Katie Cruise, and David and Victoria Beckham are discreetly trying to outshine each other in every event they attend to.
The latest would be last night’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala “Superheroes: Fashion And Fantasy� in New York City.
So who shone brighter among the two pairs?
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
Hit Reason: Katie has always been good in carrying her stylish bob-cut hair. Plus Tom has always been that beaming whenever he has Katie by her side. The two seems to be so much in-love with each other (despite their heights).
Miss Reason: Katie looks like a walking Crayola with her tangerine gown and blue shoes; it’s just not a good match. And maybe these two could try another pose next time.
David and Victoria Beckham
Hit Reason: The two have always lived up to their title as the best dressed family in England. Posh, poised, and glam; David and Victoria have always looked royalty. Although while in the previous events they attend, it was Victoria who brings in the attention, I think this time it was David who stood out.
Miss Reason: While Tom has managed to give his beaming smile on the event, Victoria seems to have never learned to look like a happy and loved wife as she was on her usual serious self. And see-throughs just don’t work on Victoria!
There goes the reason why the two hit or missed it. It’s up to you to decide which pair looked better than the other.
