Trick or Treat

by Rechelle Tolinero

Halloween. A ghoulish holiday celebrating the dead. A sacred festival by the Celts - a fashion opportunity for Hollywood.

Our famous celebs show just how creative (or mental) they can be when Hallow’s Eve strikes. From sassy to silly, the stars sure give us a good treat every Halloween.

Let’s see what they have in store for us this year:

paris hilton

Ms. Hilton hasn’t been particularly classy with her choice of style lately, and this get-up is no exception. But mind you, she brings “creepy waitress to a whole new sizzling level. She spent her hallow’s celebration at the Playboy Mansion costume party and club-hopping in L.A.

Alyssa Milano

The always glam Alyssa Milano didn’t have to look ghastly to get into a festive mood. Her fab butterfly costume earned her points for beauty & style as she winged it at Heidi Klum’s Halloween Party.

Ahh… I’m not really sure if Jeremy Piven got the right idea about this whole dress up thing. His pancho and rifle BARELY screams “Halloween. This Enoturage star could have thrown in a sombrero and a burrito to complete his Mexican bandito look. Piven was spotted at Klum’s Hallow’s Bash.

minnie driver

Yes, this is a costume party, but a little more thought on what to wear would help! Minnie Driver is just ASKING for a ticket from the fashion police. This actress-singer / fairy has had a few fashion misses in the past, and even on Halloween, she can’t get it right. Fly away Minnie.

Duff Sisters

The Duff sisters opted for something low-key for the Airparty Annual Halloween Party this season. Hilary had on a tasteful gypsy outfit, and Haylie showed her great bod as a 50’s aerobics instructor.

Roseanne Barr pulled out no stops with this costume. The quirky comedienne was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a spooky winged angel… with attitude.

tara reid

Tara’s sense of style has always landed an egg on her face. But with this, well… she totally lost me. I’m not sure what she planned to be, but it sure involved a red bikini, a feather boa, and a santa hat. Hmm… probably one of Santa’s ho-ho-HO helpers???

Celebrity dress-ups are trickier than deciding what gown to wear to the Emmy’s. Costumes require a lot of thought… and, as some of these stars would hopefully realize… a lot of stylists too.

As for what they would probably wear next year?… Well… trick or treat?
