Two of a Different Kind

by Rechelle Tolinero

Since it seems that we’ve all been so used to seeing the Olsen sisters in their worst[s] – stinky-looking hair and dirty raccoon eyes which they call smoky. It is kind of refreshing (and a relief) to see them in a clean and decent look.

Arriving at the Thursday night’s 7th on Sale gala, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen looked so much better with their carefully done hair and properly applied make-ups. With their versions of the white dress, we can’t seem to help but make some comparisons.

Although they now dressed better than their previous fashion statements, obviously someone looked better than the other, and someone would have to do some thinking.

Well with Ashley’s cut-out floor-length t-shirt dress she can never go wrong. She is looking so glorious and divine with the frock that’s made more dramatic by her golden blonde updo hair. Finally, she got what classic and sophisticated mean. For me, this is her best look so far in months!

On the other hand, her twin sister Mary-Kate’s balloon minidress and towering platforms are just too enormous to take. I wonder how she was able to carry that big frock that seems to be fresh from a Terminix experience. Not to mention those pink pumps being too loud to match with the frock that’s already loud in itself. I’m just glad she was still able to walk that night. But I guess this is okay than her eccentric style at the Calvin Klein’s Spring/Summer 08 party.

Well let’s just say that this time, one’s a blockbuster, the other’s a so-so. What more can I say but congrats to Ashley and better luck next time MK.

These two sisters look like underdeveloped goth midgets desperately crying for attention…they should buy some shampoo, a hair brush and some cheek blush. They have oily and untidy hair and their skin looks desperately craving for vitamins….
