War of the Billboards
Tokyo, Japan – known as the most populous metropolitan area in the world. With a population of over 35 million people, it is not a wonder why this city has also been a center for Hollywood promotional stints like movie premieres, concerts, tours, and bulletin boards.
Yes, bulletins, and call it coincidence, lots of them were unveiled in the same day last October 15. Billboards of big celebs promoting various stuffs; bags, clothes, perfumes, etc.
So you want to know some of these gigantic faces in Tokyo streets? Can you decide which billboard dominates? It’s a battle of the billboards in Celebrity Fashion Watch…
First on the list is Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker’s billboard advertising for Samantha Thavasa store. Wow this one is fabulous! I guess we need to thank Photoshop too for that three years younger look.
Next is pop superstar Lindsay Lohan for Jill Stuart’s billboard advertising campaign. But is this really Lindsay? Contrary to Sarah Jessica’s younger looking bulletin, Lindsay’s has the aged and disturbed look. Well, blame it to the photographer.
So what do you think of Lucy Liu’s GAP billboard? I say it’s sexy with a hint of mystery.
I love Victoria Beckham’s bulletin for Samantha Thavasa. It’s way beyond sexy and classy.
As they say, save the best for last… And how else could we make this battle special but with the presence of the queen, Madonna. And when we say dominate, this one’s taking it all. Her billboard advertising campaign for Brillia Mare Ariake real estate stands out. No words needed for that.
With all these beautiful faces swarming the city, what more could you ask for?
